"AAAHHHHHHHHH!"

I nearly jumped and plunged to the river when someone not far from where I was screamed at the top of their lungs.

Why the hell is he screaming?

The very few people that passed by gave him judging stares before completely ignoring him and continuing with their own lives.

"YOUR STUPID! UNGRATEFUL! UNDESERVING! WHY DON'T YOU JUST KILL YOURSELF! URGGHHH!"

He's having some fucked up shit right now and it's kind of ruining my day.

He continued on with his shouts that annoyed me to the core, but somehow, I stayed.

Maybe it was because I could feel his sorrow. Just like how I bare my own.

I deeply sighed.

I literally was the only person left with this loud stranger.

I was about to leave him alone as well, thinking that it was useless to keep on listening to his screams when I suddenly heard a splash.

My eyes immediately widened when I realized the guy jumped off the bridge and into the river.

What the fuck?

I ran back to the edge of the bridge to search of his body. It took me awhile to find it struggling to reach the surface. I didn't know what came over me when I jumped into the river and went after to save him.

When I neared him, I gasped when he tried to pull my shoulders down, almost drowning me along with him as well.

Is he trying to kill me as well?!

"Don't move, idiot?! I'm trying to help you here!"

I didn't know if he understood me from underneath the water, but he did stop and I took it as a chance to drag him to the shore.

As soon as we did reach it, I layed on the ground, trying to recollect the air I spent on saving this idiot.

I heard him cough from beside me as well and I took it as a sign to interrogate him.

"What the fuck were you thinking, you nutjob! You nearly drowned!" I scolded him. "And I nearly drowned saving you!"

"I didn't even ask you to save me. So don't judge or blame me for what you did on your own accord."

His tone was a bit harsh and it made my heart cold.

I just fucking saved you, a**hole!

I scoffed at his remark and got up, dripping wet from the river.

"This is what I get for helping," I muttered.

Well, he for one was actually right.

Why did I even help him?

I didn't argue with myself anynore and decided to leave him there, but then he grabbed my hand, and it made me shiver at how cold his touch was.

Well... He was wet from the cold river anyways.

"No, no, please don't go! I don't wanna be alone here. I heard someone will jump in and stab me from the back if I was alone on the Han River."

I stiffened at the mention of the Han River murder, but regained my composure when I realized his change in attitude.

He was just bitch-ing on me a little not too long ago.

"Well, wouldn't that be in your pleasure? You just jumped off the bridge and you didn't even know how to swim."

I stared down at him.

I can't believe I'm scolding a person who does what I've always wanted to do.

Lalisa Manoban, you're unbelievable.

"Hey, hey, it wasn't even my intention! My bracelet fell accidentally and I didn't even think twice when I plunged in after it."

I gazed on his hands and saw him clutching a bracelet.

It must mean alot to him.

I softened at the way he held the accessory, kissing it after.

He looked up shortly, and I finally got a good sight of his face. My eyebrows raised seeing how perfectly sculpted his feautures were. His hair was a shade of blonde and dark on the roots.

His eyes looked at me with the same awe as I did, he was supposed to look charming right now, but all I could see of him was that he looked like a complete idiot staring at me.

I didn't know I saved a dumb blonde.

He was practically gaping at me and I felt a tad bit uncomfortable. I didn't show any of my nervousness, instead, I gaped at him as well.

Guess that makes me look like a complete idiot as well.

He and I were just staring at each other, and I didn't know how I managed to pull away from his gaze, but I was able to anyways.

"Errr... Well," I trailed off.

"Oh, I'm sorry!"

He pulled away from his trance.

"It's just that you're really pretty."

He smiled and I was basically dumbfounded.

It made everything more awkward than it was and I guess he just noticed that when he cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry again."

I suddenly chuckled which startled him.

I never knew a stranger could make me smile genuinely like this.

"Umm, did I say something?"

I shook my head and raised my head to look at his handsome face again.

"You just apologized for calling me pretty," I pointed out.

His ears tinted a shade of red as he blushed and I chuckled again.

He is rather adorable.

"If you're straightforward then I'll be as well. You're very cute, mister.. Uhhh.."

He caught on rather quickly and grinned widely at me, standing up and loosening his grip on the bracelet he caressed just a minute ago.

"Kim Taehyung.
But you can just call me Tae."
