I saw the girls smile in satisfaction.
Should I smile too?
"You can all go home now. Training session is over for today. But I'll see you guys 8AM sharp tomorrow again, okay? You are dismissed!"
Our training instructor left and the whole daily process of the girls crowding around me resurfaces.
"So.. Who's up for some karaoke? My treat!" Jennie cheered.
Oh, Jennie Eonnie.
I smiled and was about to speak when–
"MAYBE NEXT TIME."
I almost laughed out loud at them simultaneously mimicking me.
Almost.
Because I can never laugh out loud.
"Yes, maybe next time again."
