I decided to sleep for the rest of the day, and only eat dinner after that. Yeah, I may have over reacted to Tobias, but he scared me. And I'm not in a good place right now to be scared, finding out I'm a disgrace anyways.

To my knowledge, nobody else came and visited me, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I long for my family, but they kicked me out of the house.

So, at the moment, when I get out of this hospital, three weeks from now, I will either be put up for adoption, homeless, or staying with people. But I have no friends and no other family.

They changed my physical therapy to tomorrow, and I'll do it for three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

I am not looking foreword to it, but I'll be strong, and maybe I can defend myself better if I am stronger. Eh, who knows, really.

The familiar three knocks and a creaking noise tells me my nurse is coming in with dinner, which is always bland chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn. And a side of really gross vanilla ice cream. Hospital food is disgusting, but at least I got root beer with it.

"Thank you" I say quietly, taking the disgusting food and placing it on my lap. The nurse nods and before leaving, she turns around.

"You have a visitor here." My heart jumps for a second, wondering who it must be to harass me now. "The school counselor, Tori." I nod and sho a confused face.

Why would she be here? I have talked to her a few times but I mean, why would she be here. Is this even legal? I laugh at the thought and Tori comes in.

"Hey Tris. How do you feel?" She asks kindly.

"I'm okay, just trying to figure out a way to eat this without puking." I say, scrunching my nose and looking at the food. Tori laughs a little and walks towards me.

"Good thing I brought you McDonald's." My face lightens up and smiles. "I knew it is your favorite, mostly because of good memories, I remember you telling me."

I smile and gently take the food out of her hand, dropping the disgusting hospital food into the garbage, but leaving the root beer on the tray.

"Thank you, Tori." She nods in response and sits down.

"You're quite brave, little one." I raise an eyebrow, stuffing my chicken nuggets into my mouth. This is the first time I had good food in a while.

"I'd expect you to not speak to anyone-"

"I'm not speaking to anyone, you've never giving me a reason to not talk to you, and you brought me real food."

She laughs and nods. "I have to go soon, work stuff, tell me you'll come visit me often when you get back to school."

"I will Tori."

She nods, leaving the room and gently shutting the door, and I jump at the sound. Like usual. And keep stuffing fries into my mouth, wondering why she even brought them, and how she snuck them in.

{hey

Here's some Tori in it for you 😂😉 }
