I end up not going to sleep after I finish my fries and chicken nuggets. I was trying to but that didn't happen. I am not tired I guess.

There's not much I can do since I'm still connected to an IV and can only reach out so far. There's a paper and pencil right there on the desk and it's just out of my reach.

The IV just stops me from grabbing it. I don't want to call a nurse in for something this pathetic. If only I didn't have the IV I'd be able to grab it and I'd draw like I normally do. I stare down at the IV connected to my finger, and the other one connected to my elbow.

I look back over to the pad of paper and reach out one more time and miss again. Just if I could yank the finger one out, I'd be able to grab it, I can always put it back in. I look at the bag of fluid, and the bag of medicine I'm connected to.

My eyes follow the bag of medicine connected through the tubes and see where it ends- my elbow.

I can not have medicine for just two seconds, I can insert the IV back in. I look around the room for cameras- there is none, surprisingly. I look at my foot, in a soft cast and then my wrist in it's hard cast.

I was directly told not to put pressure on that foot, but just one step... I can do it. I slowly bring my hand hand with the finger IV up to my elbow and hold my hand there, and watch my hand slowly tremble.

I wince a little at the the pain of the needles dragging out of my arm, and relax when it's out. I hold the needle against my finger so the medication doesn't drip and I move my leg over the bed and just above the floor.

I stand with my good leg, and reach over, but it's out of reach. I limp over, feeling my bad foot pop in many places and then pain shoots up my leg.

"Ouch!" I hiss. I grab the paper and hurriedly hop onto the bed, trying to ignore the shooting pain in my leg and the fact the my knee is somehow bleeding now. Once I get myself situated, I have to figure out how to get the medication back into my arm.

I didn't expect it to be out that long. My eyes start to blur out from dizziness, mostly because I haven't stood up in how long?

I start panicking and breathing heavy, so I pick up the pencil and paper and draw trying to relax myself but it isn't working. I draw an eye, and I try to figure out who's eye but it's too late, dizziness overcomes me and I drop the book.

"What is happening to me?" I say as I hear the monitors speed and slow and my body sways. I hear running in the hall and my eyes darken.

My name is called in a familiar voice and then I here the sounds of someone struggling. Is that me? No I don't think so. Someone touches my arm and then my neck and then I'm out like a light.
