I've finally come around to the realization of the seriousness of dreams. Finally realized that they aren't just something random that happens in your unconsciousness. They're the door to finding someone who's been lost. The door to knowing they're fine. They're not ironic little movies you make up, they're the comforting hand of a soul telling you not to be sad because they're okay now.
I met you in my dreams last night. We hugged each other tight. It may have only lasted a minute but in that one small act, in that dream, I realized, "Oh you really are okay now. I'll try not to cry for you so much." Because in that short dream, in that small moment, neither of us were sad. Neither of us were upset. And we smiled.
Thank you for meeting me in that dream. Thank you for letting me know you're okay. And come back anytime.
Join the others who have let me know.
I'll be waiting.
I'll be there every night.
