Blue Air Conditioner

You groaned uncomfortably as you shifted in your bed, shoving another scoop of ice cream in your mouth.

It was currently 90 degrees in the tower and the air conditioner broke leaving you practically dying from the heat.

You looked over to your reading boyfriend who was unaffected from the heat, being a frost giant and all, and gave him a begging stare.

"I'm not doing it (Y/N)," Loki told you not looking up from his book.

"Please Loki, I know you hate that you're a frost giant but it's apart of you and I think you look beautiful in that form," you reassured your boyfriend, causing him to sigh.

"Besides even though you can't feel it, it's practically boiling in here and I know you wouldn't allow me to suffer."

Loki rolled his eyes and you giggled, nudging him playfully.

"Oh alright, I'll do it, but only because I trust you and I don't want you to feel uncomfortable."

You uttered a soft 'thank you' and gave him a kiss on the cheek, understanding how hard this was for him to do. Loki's eyes soon turned crimson red as the rest of his body became blue with markings, changing the texture of his normally smooth skin.

"Alright come here," he instructed opening his arms. You immediately cuddled up to him letting out a sigh of relief as his cool arms wrapped around you.

"You're like a blue air conditioner," you mumbled into his neck causing him to chuckle.

"Anything for you, darling."

You both stayed that way for awhile, Loki for the first time feeling at peace with his frost giant form.
