Hero

Warnings: none just a lot of fluff haha because I love fluff

You worked at a coffee shop pretty close to Stark tower which meant you got to meet most of the avengers and overtime even become friends with them.

Today however, was the first time Loki entered the shop, ordering a coffee from you. You immediately noticed his beautiful ocean, blue eyes and dark raven hair. His voice was surprisingly kind as he ordered and you couldn't help but form a small crush on the god despite his past actions.

And so the cycle started. Every day he would come in, order a coffee, and then sit down at a booth and discretely stare at you. Soon Thor began to take notice of his brothers actions and thought it was maybe time for a talk.

"Loki where are you going?" Thor asked as Loki began to leave.

"If you must know brother, I'm going to go get a Midgardian coffee from that shop near by."

"Is it because (Y/N) works there? Are you only going to stare at her like you usually do?"

Loki froze in his tracks and turned around slowly.

"I beg your pardon?"

"You heard me," Thor teased, taking a bite of his pop tart. "I have no idea what you're talking about, I'll be leaving now," Loki responded flustered, hoping Thor wouldn't notice, but he did.

You smiled at Loki as he entered and ordered his usual, sitting down. "So how's life as an avenger treating you?" You asked making conversation. "Well I wouldn't really consider myself an avenger but it's going rather well thank you," came his soft reply making your heart swell.

"Of course you're an avenger, you go on missions and save people it doesn't matter what you did in the past, you are a hero just like the rest of them."

Loki sweared his heart stopped when you called him a hero. He almost wanted to cry at the overwhelming emotion that was flooding him. "I can assure you sweet girl, I'm no hero," he whispered rather close to your face.

"Well you're a hero to me," you told him softly quickly giving him a peck on the cheek before returning to making his coffee.

"Would you like to go out to dinner with me sometime?"

"I thought you'd never ask."
