Chapter 11: Drama or nah??
-NOT EDITED-
Melanie Anderson
"MY MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD, DAMN RIGHT ITS BETTER THAN YOURS!" I heard a voice screaming out loud.
Why must I be awaken in such a horrible way?!
My door was busted open, and there appeared my dear brother.
I lock my door... How did he get in?
"Dylan get out."
He still stood there rocking his hips to Kelis' song.
"GET OUT!" I shouted, dramatically rushing out of my bed and towards his direction. He looked afraid and quickly jumped out of my room. "ABORT MISSION SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE HULK!" He yelled. I'm guessing dad sent him on his weekly wake me ups. He usually does this on Saturdays... I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!
I can't possibly look that terrifying. I walked to my mirror while dragging my feet, "Stupid Dylan ruining my sleep! I was having a pleasant drea-- AH!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Dylan soon peered back sticking his head in between the door. "Told ya you looked scary," he quickly left as I threw my super sparkly pink pillow at him.
I missed too.
After brushing my teeth and showering while making myself look presentable, I head downstairs to grab some breakfast. But not before checking my phone I don't!
I click the home button to be welcomed by 5 missed calls from Dylan and 3 texts from... an unknown number.
Dylan left a voicemail and I clicked play.
"O-M-F-G! Why aren't you up?! Have you seen the news this morning?! GET YOUR ASS TO YOUR TV AND TURN IT ON. YOU NEED TO SEE IT NOW." That's all I hear before the message is over. Without thinking I grab the remote off of my bedside table to see what all this craziness was about.
I turn to channel 1 and see pictures of Nico and I all over the screen. Different shots of us singing and walking down the red carpet. That's when I saw a clip of Rebecca Wilson talking into the camera asking me questions. I obviously had said that Nico and I were just friends but then a clip of us singing came on. "Does that look like they're just friends? I mean look at the way they look into each other's eyes." Rebecca Wilson spoke as she swiped her hair off her shoulder.
"Do you ship these love birds or nah?" She finished off by saying.
"Did she really just say that?" I think to myself out loud.
"MELANIE MARIE ANDERSON GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE MISSY." Oh no. My father yelled my whole name. That either means he's excited or very angry. Maybe I wasn't the only one who decided to turn on the news this morning either.
Yea, he might be angry.

As I walked down the stairs I look at all the pictures of me and Dylan when we were younger. One of them shows him tying my long pigtails to a chair. The other showing him running away. I remember that day. I was 4 and my mom was still alive. She made him wear a long wig and tie it into two pigtails so I could tie them to the chair like he did. That was the memories the other pictures showed.
I don't know why I'm thinking of this madness now, but to be honest it makes me feel a little bit better.
I made my way towards the living room couch where my dad sat and watched Rebecca Wilson speaking with yet another picture of Nico and I.
He turned his head, now knowing of my presence. "I trust you and I know that what is going on here is false. I'd like to believe that when this, Rebecca Wilcock person asked if you were dating this boy you were telling the truth. That in fact you two are just friends." Normally I would have listened to what he said but still correct him on his mistake. But this is no time for play.
