Like promised in the last chapter.
Nico's POV. I won't do this often for him, only when I think it's necessary or if you guys want his POV. I'm trying not to give to much away.
Chapter 2: Nico's POV
Nico Marin
I hate the feeling of everyone thinking I'm some kind of god. I'm just like everyone else.
Human.
I guess it's not their fault they don't understand. I love when fans freak out and want to get an autograph, but it gets a bit crazy sometimes.
Every time the last bell of the day rings, I get escorted out by my personal body guard Jiggy, to my car. I have paparazzi going around asking things like,
"Are you quitting the music business?"
"School? Why have that if your living the good life?"
Honestly most people want what they can't have. Like I want a normal life, even though it's not likely to happen for me. While people who are living normal lives want to become famous, and sometimes it does or doesn't happen.
I could never quit music, I love it way too much for that to ever happen. I just want to be able to say that I had the typical high school experience, before it was too late.
I just moved into an apartment in Washington Heights where the paparazzi wouldn't suspect someone like me, to be living in.
This is quite the nice area that's full of Dominican locals who are sweet and play catchy music I can vibe to. The food in the neighborhood is pretty good too.
I am about to get into my black 2010 Jeep Wrangler, on my way home when it starts to rain.
That's weird considering the news said it would be sunny all day.
Jiggy always leaves me to drive in my car and follows behind me in his, just in case something happens and I need him.
Through my rainy rear view mirror I see that girl... What's her name?...
Oh yea, Melanie!
I sung with her in music class earlier today.
She so beautiful and sings really good, I just wish she spoke to me more.
I saw her on my first day here, in Riversdale High.
I also noticed she has no friends. There's a stupid rumor going around that she's a carrier of some strange disease, and so no one approaches her because of it. Nina confessed to me that she made it up because she was threatened by her natural beauty.
The only reason why she even admitted all of that to me was because she was so nervous around me and didn't know what to say.
I'm going to do something about that.
Melanie has these pretty blue eyes and nice brown hair. And she's so much shorter than I am and it's the cutest thing ever.
You don't see bright blue eyes and brown hair very often.
She was alone and in the pouring rain without an umbrella. I couldn't help but follow her.
I think she may be planning on taking the train home.
Maybe I should go help her. But what if someone notices me and starts asking me questions and stuff?
Before I could change my mind I stopped the car leaving it double parked as I got off and jogged towards her with an umbrella in hand.
