Chapter 14: English Love Affair

This morning I made sure to let my household members know that people who come in to our house can't use my bathroom. Even if the main bathroom smells like poop and everything is untouchable.
I'm now walking down the hallway to my locker, when I see Ms. I'm So Fancy sliding her finger up and down Nico's torso. If it wasn't for the fact that Dylan was on her tail I would have pulled her finger off.
Wait Dylan was on her tail!
"Leave Nico alone, he doesn't like scum like you." Dylan told her while slamming her finger into her chest. Nina turned to face me. She smirked and rolled her eyes at me while going to face Dylan again.
She twirled her long straight hair, "And what? You think he would like that? Oh please, in her wildest dreams." How rude. She really doesn't care about anyone but herself.
Dylan was going to say something but Nico cut her off.
"Ok, that's it. I'm sick and tired of you talking to Melanie that way. You're no better than her. If anything she's better than you, she's caring and nice and everything you're not. So stop talking to her that way, and please don't touch me. I don't like you." Shocked. That's the expression on everyone's face. People who were walking up and down the hallway now stopped to see what was going on. They began to whisper to each other, and I couldn't understand what they were saying. Nico managed to put Nina in her place without actually cursing at her or without fully disrespecting her, and that made him seem scary when he yelled.
Nina just stood in her place. Her face red as a tomato and she looked around at the bystanders. Suddenly she made a step to walk away, and that turned into full on running. I kind of feel bad.
"Don't feel bad Mel, she deserved it." Dylan whispered in my ear so no one else could hear her.
Well this morning has been interesting.

I passed the bulletin board on my way to lunch. I didn't really want to go, but I guess I had no choice. Dylan's making me go. Although I saw a flyer that caught my eye.
It was actually really pretty, with its bright blue and pink colors.
It said:

Riversdale High School will be hosting the first annual Talent Show Competition judged by our very own, Nico Marin.
Information:
In order for you to sign up you have to audition today!! Auditions today at the Velvet Theatre in the basement right after lunch. Make sure you are prepared and you will be told if you got in by our judges today as well. Good Luck!
"Whoa," I muttered.
Why didn't Nico tell me about this? I'm going to audition. Now all I have to think about is what song I'm going to sing.
I take the paper and head into the cafeteria.
I see Dylan sitting down with her food in front of her. She looks grossed out and she's pokingat it.
