Ever since Peter started hanging out at The Avengers Tower, he's heard stories and stories upon stories of their past battles and friendships. He took in every detail of every story, these were his literal heroes the after all.

He especially liked the stories that Thor told, the ones of Asgard and of the bifrost and of his brother. However he had also been told that Loki was the one who attacked New York the first time. He was told that he should never be caught in a room alone with him.

But today Peter met Loki, it was nice, he was nice. He was different from the stories the others told. Maybe they were biased or maybe he had simply just changed. Peter didn't care either way. Their first interaction went a little like this:

☆~ Thor had walked into the room with a great smile on his face, stretching from ear-to-ear he spread his arms in greeting and said in a cheerful voice, "We have company! Loki has paid me a visit!".

Peter remembers the way everyone's head turned toward Thor, a mix of shock and.. maybe fear?

Loki stepped out from behind Thor and gave a small wave to the room. Peter could tell that somewhere on guard, but he remembered have relaxed and happy Thor was. 'Could he really be that bad? His brother, who knows him better than probably anyone, is relaxed around him.' Peter thought.

"Stark." Loki said, giving Tony a look Peter couldn't quite place, it held history behind it.

"Loki" Tony replied with a small nod, his eyes held emotion behind them that Peter couldn't read.

"Loki" Bruce said, he had a small smile but that wasn't uncommon for Bruce.

"Bruce" Loki replied tilting his head just so.

"Loki." Natasha said, her lips pressed into a thin line.

"Natasha." Loki said, mirroring her look to her. "Steve." Loki said looking to Steve with remembrance in his voice.

"Loki." Steve said, shoulders stiff but voice smooth.

It was silent for a heartbeat, but boy was that heartbeat a tense one.

"Great!" Thor said and clapped, startling Peter and Loki though Loki hid it by shifting his weight on his feet.

"Kay, don't burn my house down. Don't break my shit. Thor keep an eye on your brother, I'll be in the lab." Tony said as he stood up. "Banner wanna come?" He offered and looked to Bruce, who nodded and they both left the room.

"I have plans with Bucky today, so I'm leaving now. Natasha watch them." Steve said with a firm point that dragged from Natasha to Loki and Thor.

"Don't stay out to long, gramps!" Natasha called to him playfully as he left the building. She turned to Thor and Loki, Thor still had the happiest smile on his face, Loki challenged Natasha's stare with one of his own.

"Why don't I get us some drinks." Natasha said, cheeryness that seemed to go e from nowhere, was it fake? Peter couldn't tell.

"I shall go alert the others so they do not try to kill you on sight!" Thor said happily and practically skipped out of the room. It was obvious to anyone: Thor really loves his brother.

That left Loki and Peter. 'What do. What do? What do!' Peter's mind raced and his hands pressed flat against the thighs of his crossed legs.

Loki walked over to the couch Peter was currently sitting on and sat next to him. Loki looked at Peter and Peter looked at Loki. "They'er recruiting kids now?"

"I-I'm 16 actually.". 'Wow. What a way to introduce yourself to a God'. Peter thought and mentally facepalmed.

Loki made a 'tch' sound and asked "Do you know who I am?".

Peter replied with a nod. Loki looked away from Peter. "B-but uh, I think you're really cool." Peter said, he saw Loki look at him from the corner of his eye. "And Thor is always telling stories about you two when younger. And he told us how you helped save Asgard.".

Loki turned to face Peter again. "Do you have a name, boy?".

"Peter Parker. Spider-Man." Peter said, extending a hand for Loki to shake. After brief hesitation Loki shook his hand.

Loki of Asgard. God of mischief. Rightful king of Jotunheim.". ~☆

Now, Peter and Loki are good friends and Peter has gotten Loki to play video games with him. One time in Fallout 4, Peter was trying to do something but he didn't have enough charisma so Loki but in with "Have you considered manslaughter?".

Peter remembered how Tony's head turned. And his face! Oh his face, priceless.

Another time Loki had found out that Flash, a kid from his school, was bullying him. That day after school Loki was waiting for him to walk him home. And when flash had approached none the less, Loki use his magic and clone himself and surrounded Flash with maybe 10 Loki's. That was cool.

They watch movies together. Peter explains things about "Earth culture" to Loki. Loki explains things about "Asgardian culture" to Peter. Sometimes Thor gets jealous of how much time Loki spends with Peter, so they'll all go out to a park or to get frozen yogurt just the three of them. It's really great! Peter loves every minute of it.

Well Loki may have done some bad things in his past Peter sees that he's changed his different now he was misguided but now he has Peter to help him find the right path.

Peter is not afraid to admit that whenever Loki and or Thor have to go to Asgard or something for one reason or another he feels a bit sad. But whatever they return their greeted with big hugs from the small boy.
