《I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BEING TRANSGENDER, I AM NOT SO IDK MAN. THINGS LIKE PACKERS AND BINDERS I'LL USE IN WAYS I'VE READ IN OTHER FICS, IF I DO SOMETHING WRONG PLZ INFORM ME》

{{I'm going off of Spider-Girl, (originally Peter Parker and Mary Jane's daughter), to be the original name of the boy we all know and love}}

Peter remembers the day when he fully understood that he wanted to be a man.

He remembers waking up bright and early on a Saturday morning, around 7am. He remembers staring at the ceiling with a slightly wet forehead, just waking up from the most bizarre dream he ever had. He remembers looking down at his blanket covered body then lifting the covers and frowning at his breasts.

He remembers never really feeling right in a girl's body.

He remembers slowly getting out of bed and walking down stairs, it was May's day off so she was still sleeping. He doesn't remember exactly what he made for breakfast that day but he remembers eating it fast and then sitting in front of the TV without turning it on.

He remembers staring at the black screen, thoughts jumping around in his head such as: Do I have to change my name? I think I want to change my name. Will May be chill about this? Do I tell her? Of course I can tell her, she'll be chill. I trust her with everything. Well, everything except the fact that I can climb walls and webs shoot out of my wrists and I have superstrength. Should I become, like, a superhero? When I'm a guy? That'd be so cool! Just like Tony Stark! Tony was a nice name. Wouldn't that be weird though? If I named myself Tony? After Tony Stark? One of my Idols. Well, it'd be better than Thor.

Peter remembers laughing at himself quietly, he was just so excited to tell May. About his gender realization, not the spider thing, not yet.

Eventually May woke up, and that's when Peter jumped up from the couch and ran a hug into her as she turned the corner of the hallway. May screamed on impact.

"Mayday Parker! You gave me a heart attack!" She screamed and held a hand over her heart, exhaling dramatically.

"Sorry May! I'm just so excited!" Mayday was practically jumping in place in front of her aunt.

May chuckled and pat her nieces head with a fond smile. "First, coffee. Then whatever your spazzing over." May said and shuffled around Mayday to get to the coffee machine.

"Of course!" Mayday chirped with a radiant smile as she walked over to the couch and sat back in her previous spot, thinking about the different ways she could tell May. Then it hit her like a ton of bricks.

She was not only going to come out to May as part of the LGBTQ+ community but she was also going to verbally admit it to herself.

Hardcore thinking about it is one thing, verbally addressing it is a whole other experience.

Mayday's breaths became shaky and holow. Her palms begin to sweat and her hands shook ever so slightly. What if she's actually not chill about this? What if she'll think I'm weird or gross? Is she Catholic? Oh no! What if she's Catholic and this is like a major sin or something!? What if I'm wrong? What if this is just a phase? What if I say it out loud and then I hate it? I can't go back on it, she'll think I was just doing it to get attention? But I'm not? I do want to be a man? Yeah. Yes I do. And she'll have to deal with that even if she doesn't like it.

Mayday breathed a little easier at her final thoughts as May sat down next to her.

"So," May started and sipped her coffee. "What's the scoop?".

Penis. Mayday finished the accidental vine quote in her head. That made her feel a little better about this, but none the less, she was still nervous.

The lack of Mayday speaking wasn't right to May, "You were so excited just a moment ago. Did something happen?".

Mayday shook her head quickly and looked her aunt in the eyes before clearing her throat, inhaling, and--

Nothing. She froze. With her mouth open and eyes unblinking. A million thoughts and second-guesses that were too loud to hear crashed around in her head.

Now May was worried. She quickly but gently put her coffee cup on the coffee table and held Mayday's hands in her own. "Honey, whatever's bothering you,", she gently squeezed the young girls hands. "You can tell me. I'm here for you.".

"May I think I'm transgender." The words practically fell out of Mayday's mouth and it took both girls a second to process them. "Wait- No- I mean- It's not- It's- I'm-" Mayday desperately tried to find an excuse but was engulfed into a loving pair of arms instead.

"Oh sweetie! That's wonderful!" May smiled into Mayday's ear as she squeezed the life out of her.

Mayday didn't do anything except blink. "What.".

May released her niece from the hug but kept two firm hands on her shoulders. "What hat do you mean 'what'?" May asked.

"Well like.. aren't you mad? Or grossed out? Or disappointed?" Mayday asked, tears stinging the edges of her eyes.

"Why on Earth would I be grossed out or mad or disappointed? You're my niece- oop- err, you're my..?" May dragged out the 'y' sound, asking with her eyes for Mayday to correct her.

Mayday blinked a few times, aware of the few tears that ran down her cheeks but not addressing them, "Nephew.".

Did May seriously just say she was okay with this?! And is supporting me??!

"You're my nephew, and I love you forever and always- no matter what! I don't care if you're gay, straight, bi, transgender, or whatever! I'll love you no matter what.".

Mayday threw his arms around his aunt and squeezed, she squeezed back. "Wow! This means the world to me, May! I love you so much! Thank you!".

May chuckled, "I should be the one thanking you! You trust me enough to tell me!".

They both released each other after a final squeeze and just looked at each other, soft smiles and warm feelings.

"Do you, I mean you don't have to, but do you want me to call you something else? Or do you want to like change your name legally? Do you want to stay as Mayday? What's the deal?"

Mayday looked away from his aunt in thought. He looked at their surroundings and thought about people he knew, places he's been, pets he's had. Before turning back to me and saying, "Peter.". He flashed May a confident smile, "And I'd like to legally change it if that's okay.".

"Of course it's okay, I just said it was okay dummy." May said as she ruffled Peter's long hair. "How about later today, or maybe next week, we go out and get you a full makeover. We don't have enough money right now to get surgery, if that's what you want, but we should have enough for a binder and I believe it's called a packer? If you want?" May asked.

Peter blushed over thought of buying a packer with his aunt, but smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'd love that.".
