"YOU'RE SPIDER-MAN!?" Flash yelled and jumped from his seat, slamming his hands on his desk. There was an uproar of disbelief and excitement. Peter looked to Ned for help, Ned looked as scared as he was. Peter looked to Tony, who looked like he regretted his decision as well,

"I uh... I uhhh..." Peter tried

"Hey! Settle down!" Tony yelled over the crowd forming around Peter's desk, it did nothing to ease or quit them.

"Shoot some web!"

"Do a flip!"

"Are you part spider?"

"Can you really climb walls?"

"Do the web's come out of you?"

"Have you killed someone before?"

"Is Tony Stark your dad?!"

"I can't believe I cheated off of Spider-Man!!"

"Stark internship my ass!!"

"Can I have your autograph?"

"Sign my face!"

"Wanna go out?"

"What's it like?"

"You're an Avenger? That is so cool!"

All the questions, all the noise, all the people slowly closing in on him. It was too much. It was too sudden.

In one slick movement, Peter had his web shooters on and shot himself onto the ceiling above his desk.

Everyone went quiet as he did, staring in disbelief but soon cheered for him to do other stunts. The Avengers were trying to calm the kids down, trying to make them calmly sit back down at their own desks. But these are people who fight aliens, they don't know how to deal with rowdy teens.

Peter was hyperventilating and freaking out. His spidey sense was giving him a headache, and the noise bouncing around in his head soon faded into numb silence in his ears.

His ears felt like there was cotten balls in them. His mouth neither dry nor wet. His eyes were open, he was looking at the ceiling tiles, his hands, but he couldn't focus on anything. He was breathing but his lungs felt empty.

What was this? A Panic Attack? Peter? Peter Parker? Spider-Man? This was probably trending on someone's social media. Or YouTube. Spider-Man: what a weenie, stuck to the effing ceiling.

It got quiet and in the quiet Peter desperately clenched to the ceiling tiles, chest rising and falling in an uneven pattern, eyes shut tight, then suddenly came a soft voice. A soothing, even tone. Peter opened his eyes and looked up (down?) to see Vision floating eye level to him.

"Hey buddy. It's ok. You're ok."

Peter didn't say anything just opened and closed his mouth, his breathing slowly evening to a slow pace.

Vision smiled at Peter, "I was born from chaos did you know?" He almost whispered.

Peter shook his head.

"Yeah, two personalities: J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron. And an infinity stone." He paused, took a breath, and continued. "I'm not a combination of both of them, I am not one of them. I am me. I'm only about 5 years old, and I look up to you Peter Parker I really do. You're out here running around and getting chased by a vulture and helping the police. That's pretty brave." Vision smiled at Peter, Peter smiled back. "You and me. We need to stick together, were the children of group but we can still kick some ass.".

Peter unstuck one hand from the ceiling to wrap it around Vision's head and bring him closer to rest foreheads against each other in a makeshift hug. "Thank you.".

"Awwww!!" Was heard below them and when Peter looked he saw that people were backing away from his desk and sitting back in their own.

Peter blushed from causing a scene but lowered himself back to his desk using is webbing, clearing his throat awkwardly, looking to Ned (who gave him a reassuring thumbs up), taking a breath, and locking eyes with Tony (who looked like he was 10 seconds away from grabbing a suit and killing Peters anxiety via laser cannon) and said "Yes. I am Spider-Man. Uhh." Peter's eyes drifted to May. "And this is my crazy family!".

Peter and May shared the same smile, the same twinkle in their eyes, in the same crinkle on the forehead.

The class clapped probably to try and relieve the weird feeling the hug in the air or just because, well, it's the Avengers. Either way, Peter had a feeling that his school and home life was going to change.

~*~

The rest of the day was weird to say the least. Peter would get up to use the bathroom or get a drink and someone will pass it in the hall and go "Hey Spider-Man!". You really can't keep a secret in a high school can you.

Ned was getting a lot of attention too, everyone asking him how he got to be friends with Spider-Man, everyone asking him if he knew Peter was Spider-Man. Of course Ned was all dramatic aboit it and acted like it was his curse to bare the knowledge that he knew Peter was Spider-Man all along.

Flash didn't bully him anymore, if anything he idolized him. Flash had always been a fan Spiderman and I guess finding out that the kid you pushed around is Spider-Man really changes your outlook on things. He had apologized to Peter maybe a thousand times, saying it was just some things you had to work out and didn't know how. Peter, being the nice guy he is, told him it was okay.

MJ was giving him a smug look at lunch, saying that she knew he was Spider-Man she had all the proof and that he totally ruined her telling him that she knew by telling the whole ass School.

When the bell rang signaling the end of the day Peter and May and the Avengers all walked out to the parking lot together. The looks on the other parents' faces that were not in Peter's class we're priceless I guess they didn't believe the rumors that the Avengers were at career day at Midtown High.

Peter got a hug from every. Single. Avenger. And so did May. When it got time for Tony to hug Peter they wrap their arms around each other a little tighter than everyone else had. A bunch of unspoken yet still heard sentences were said in that hug. Thank you's and I'm sorry's and you did good's. Their hug lasted longer than anyone else's too. In fact they probably would have held onto each other for the rest of the day if May hadn't cut in saying "Ok. Come on. I still gotta make dinner y'know.".

Tony and Peter chuckled, squeezed each other one last time, then separated. "What if- bear with me- we all headed down to the Avengers compound and order takeout or something?" Tony suggested as May and Peter were about to turn to leave.

"We never do get together unless the world is ending." Steve added with a shrug and nod, "That would be nice.".

"Can I bring Cassie? I kind of just left her at home. Don't call me a bad parent but I thought this was going to take 20 minutes." Scott added and got a few tch's from the crowd.

"ANYTHING but Pizza." Clint said sounding like pizza was going to kill him.

"Tony better be paying." Wanda crossed her arms at Tony, Tony smiled back with a tilt of his head.

"Well come on this portal isn't going to walk you through it itself." Stephen said and everyone turned to see a sparky orange portal open that led to the Avengers compound.

Peter turned to May "Please please please please pleeeeeaaaase!!" He begged and grabbed her hands in both of his.

She chucked at him "How old are you again?" She said with a smike as she walked them both through the portal.

Best career day ever.
