Chapter Ten

I wake up in the hospital.  "How did I get here?" I ask myself. I turn my head and see my mom. "Hey sweetie." She says. "How did I get here?" I ask her. "Princess Kylie found you and brought you here." My mom says, "She also left her number in your phone. If you ever needed a friend." "That's sweet of her. Can I leave yet?" I asks. "Yes, but the doctor wanted to check and see how you were doing first." She replys. I nod. I turn on the t.v. and Adventure Time was on. It's my favorite show ever. The doctor comes and tells me I'm good to go. I get up and walk out the door. My mom hands me my phone and I go through my contact. Is the name labeled Kylie Wakefield. I text Kylie.

Hey

Hi, how are you doing today?

I'm doing great. I wanted to thank you for helping me.

It's nothing. it's nice to help friends in need.

I'm your friend?

Yeah why not?

I wasn't expecting a princess to be friend.

Ahh, well. Don't consider me a princess. Consider me a weird person that's your friend.

Okay, that sounds nice.

Yeah. So, my birthday is coming up on Halloween and I'm planning on having a ball. You're invited.

Really?

Yeah. I thought since I don't have very many friends. I'd invite you. Trust me I only have a few people that are actually my friends.

I believe you.

Good, I will meet you at Starbucks tomorrow with Maxon and Alexis. We will be going dress shopping.

Cool. What time?

Ten o'clock.

Okay well, I've got to go. Peace.

I put my phone back into my purse and walk upstairs to my room. I put in my Rolling Stones CD and "Wild Horses" start playing. I start dancing like an idiot and soon enough Cole climbs through my window. He starts laughing his butt off. "Cole!" I whisper scream. "What?" He questions. "You ruined my dance party!" I exclaim. He starts laughing even harder. I roll my eyes. I hear my mom coming up the stairs and shove Cole in my closet. She opens my door and pokes her head in. "Do you need something?" I ask. "Oh, I thought I heard someone else up here." She says. "No ma'am" I say. She leaves and shuts the door behind her. I pull Cole out of the closet and shove him towards the window. "Go!" I say. "Geez women. Okay." He says. He climbs out and runs to his house. I take a shower and change into my pajamas. I turn off my radio and grab my kindle. I put my headphones in and start watching Adventure Time.
