I Never Said I was Perfect

Chapter Three

Alexis

I wake up to the sound of Pierce the Veil. I throw on my Pierce the Veil shirt, jeans, and converses. I put on little make up. I grab my phone text Jessica and tell her I will be late for practice. I grab my guitar and head downstairs. "Alexis, honey. Are you going to eat breakfast?" My mom asks. "No ma'am." I say. I grab my purse and keys. "Alexis,.where are you going?" She asks. "To Jessica's house." I say and walk out the door. I put my guitar in the trunk and jump in the car. I arrive at Jessica's twenty minutes later. I jump out of the car, grab my guitar and run into Jessica's garage. "Hey Jess" I say. "Hey Lexi." Jessica says. "Who are we waiting on?" I ask. "Kurt and Lilly." She says,"but go ahead and get situated." I nod and go hook my guitar up to the speaker. You're probably asking what am I doing. Well I'll tell you. Battle of the bands is next week and my band and I have been practicing really hard.

We decided to play I Miss the Misery- Halestorm. Kurt and Lilly finally arrive. Kurt takes a seat at the drums and Lilly takes her keyboard out. Your also probably asking who sings? Well I do. I take my place at the front of the garage. I start off the song.

-time lapse-

"You nailed it Lexi!" Lilly and Jessica say. "Thanks" I say. I feel arms wrap around me. "Way to Go Lexi!" Kurta says. "Thank you!" I say smiling. We practice once more and then head to get lunch. "Where to?" Kurt asks. "Dairy Queen!" The girls and I scream. He chuckles and says "Sure". We drive to Dairy Queen. Kurt Rushes over to open my door. "Thank you kind sir." I say laughing. I get out and he takes my hand. I blush. We head inside and order. I got chicken and an Oreo blizzard. I finish and start dipping my fries in my ice cream. I take Kurt's ice cream and shove it on his nose. He takes it and shoves it on my cheek.  I turn and face him and shove Oreo blizzard on his face. Lilly and Jessica look at us like we are crazy and I stick my tongue out at her. I get a napkin a wipe his face off and he gets one and wipes mine off. We start laughing our heads off. "We interrupt this regular schedule with breaking news. "Queen Kimberly is in the hospital. Some one had shot Queen Kimberly while she was in her home. We have some words from Princess Kylie. "If anyone has anything to do with this. I will make sure that my guards hunt you down and kill you!" Kylie screams through tears. Soon a young man steps in the camera and wraps Kylie in a hug. I instantly recognize the guy as Prince Maxon. I could barely make out a person in the back with a gun.
