Maxon
After Lexi got here Kylie was waking up. "Hey." I say and kiss her forehead. "Ma-Maxon?!" she asks. "Yes?" I ask. "What happened?" she asked. "You're dad got drunk and hurt you." I say. "Owie." she says.
I lightly laugh. "Your best friends are here." I say. She looks around. "Mays, Lexi!" she says. "Hey, Kyles!" Mayslee says. "Sup, princess." Lexi says.
"I feel better." Kylie says. "Good, you are being sent back to the castle, Princess Kylie. But here is some medicine for you to take three times a day with each of your courses through the day." her doctor says.
"Okay, thanks." she says. I help her into a wheelchair and we roll her put of the room and go and check her out. "I'm gonna go back home, I have to start milking Bessie at like four thirty." Mayslee says. "Okay, thanks for coming you guys." Kylie says.
"I better go too, I don't want my parents to find out I'm out." Lexi says. "Ok, bye guys!" Kylie says. "Bye!" they say and both walk out.
Soon a limo comes and picks us up. Kylie feel asleep on the ride so when we got there I carried her bridal style up to her bedroom.
I lay her down and kiss her forehead. "Good night." I say. I decided to sleep in her room too, but not in the bed with her. I fold out her couch into a bed and grab some blankets.
I change into a t shirt and flannel patterned pajama pants before laying down and passing out right as my head hit the pillow.
Mayslee
At four pm I ride Rainbow back from the woods to the barn. I get off the saddle and take her to her stall. I pat her neck. "Good girl." I say and walk to the house to get ready for my date.
I put on a blue jean dress, my good cowboy boots, and French braid my hair. I put on lip gloss and mascara, I will not put on layers off makeup!
I brush my teeth and put on some Axe for her perfume and sling my purse around me. As I was waking down the stairs I hear something knock at the door. "Mays, Cole is here!!!" My mom calls.
"Comin!" I say. I walk down the last few stairs. I see Cole and his eyes grow wide. "Ma-Mayslee... you're... beautiful." he.says and I look at my feet.
"Mayslee, c'mon, love ya." Mom says, I hug her. "Bye. Love ya." I say and walk over to Cole. He was wearing a flannel, blue jeans, and cowboy boots.
"Hey." I say, shyly. "Hey." he says. He extends his arm, offering his hand. I slowly take it. "Bye!" we say and close the door. "Where too?" I ask.
"Well, do you wanna go to that barbeque joint?" he asks. "Sure."t I say. We walk out to his pick up and he opens my door for me. "Stop being a gentleman." I laugh.
"Sorry, Mays." he says and laughs. He gets in o. his side and starts the truck. My favorite station was on. Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones was on.
"I can't get no- Ba-Na-Na-Na-Na- Satisfaction!" I sing along with the music. Cole laughs and rolls his eyes at me. I stick my tongue out and start laughing.
We get to the Top Hat, an old barbeque joint right down the road from us. I get out and Cole takes my hand and we walk in.
"Hey, what will y'all want today?" the middle aged lady at the counter asks. "Um, a booth." Cole says and she leads us to a table and sets the menu out.
We thank her and sit down and flip through the menu. "Watcha gettin?" Cole asks. "Hmmm.... wanna split some ribs?" I ask. "Sure." he says. "Sides?" he asks. "Hmmm... Mac and cheese and cream potatoes." I say.
"Drink?" he asks. "Sweet tea, duh!" I say. He laughs. "Of course!" he says. "What bout you?" I ask. "Mac and cheese, green beans, and sweet tea." he says. I nod.
The waiter comes over. "Drinks?" she asks. "Sweet tea." Cole and I say insincly. "Okay. We will be right back with your drinks and take your meal order." she says.
A few minutes later she comes over and sets glass cups in front of us. She gets the sweet tea and puts it in our glasses. "Thank you." we say.
She takes our order and around fifteen minutes later she comes back with her food buggy. She sets the rack of ribs in the middle of the table. She sets down our plates with mac and cheese and green beans and mashed potatoes in front of us. "If you need anything just raise your hand, lovebirds." she says and I blush.
We eat and joke around. After we were done I sigh. "Okay, so, we splitting it?" I ask, pulling out my wallet. "No, I got it." he says. I cross my arms. "Cole, let me pay." I say. "You can pay tax and tip." he says.
"Now I feel bad." I say. He smirks. "You did me the favor and came on the date." he says and I roll my eyes. The lady comes by with the receipt and we leave the money and tip.
Cole grabs my hand as we were walking out. "What are we doing?!" I ask. He pulls me close to me. "Be quiet." he whispers. I narrow my eyes and slowly nod.
We get in his pick up and drive to my favorite creek. I loved it at night time. "Surprise!" he says as we get out and start walking down the hill to the water.
"Thank you." I say and grab his hand. He smirks and kisses me. This time I don't freak out, but I kiss him back. I wrap my arms around him as he deepens the kiss.
After we break apart we were both red. "You didn't punch me." he says and I laugh. "No I didn't." I say, "But I still can." I add. He gently shoves me. I gently punch him.
We laugh and hold each other's hand as we walk to the big rock that over looked the entire scene and had a beautiful willow by it.
We sit and look at the moon lite water. He wraps his arms around me and I soon drift asleep.
