you haven't been feeling well all day. you weren't necessarily sick.. you just didn't feel the best.

this happened often; some days were just not good days. you had no motivation to do anything but at the same time you felt that you needed to be doing nothing.

it was six pm and you haven't got out of bed once today. you didn't eat anything, you didn't drink anything.

you've just been laying in bed, staring at your surroundings for the hours you've been awake.

you didn't even want to move to check your phone to see if daniel texted you. he was suppose to be coming over today.

suddenly, your apartment door opened.

"baby?" daniel called out, walking through your apartment.

you could feel his presence at your door but you couldn't even find any motivation to move and greet him.

"love? are you alright?" he asked, concerned.

it took you a moment, but you finally found it in you to say something.

"i'm not sure," you said.

"what? y/n, have you been laying here all day?" he asked, sitting on the bed near you.

"yes," you whispered; afraid of the reaction.

"you didn't eat anything?" your boyfriend asked.

"no."

"y/n, what's wrong?" daniel asked softly, moving your hair off your face to see your forehead.

"today's just not a good day," you spoke as if it was nothing.

"you need to eat," daniel said.

"i know,"

"get up and i'll make you something," he told you.

you stayed where you were, silent for a moment until finally, you got up.

daniel was making something for you to eat while you sat at your counter.

"why didn't you tell me you were feeling like this?" he asked you as he handed you a water bottle.

"i don't know.." you said.

"y/n..." he trailed.

"i'm okay, i am. it was just a weird day. i'm sorry for worrying you." you said, giving him a small smile to reassure him.

"if you ever feel like this again, call me and i'll be over in a heartbeat." he said, kissing your forehead before making his way back over to the stove.

"i love you," you said.

"and i love you."
