you and jonah were grocery shopping, making your way to different sections of the store attempting to make a couple puns.
basically anything the two of you said was cringy as hell but neither of you cared, you were having fun.
you made your way down the aisle and saw a container of nuts.
you thought for a moment before smiling and turning to jonah.
"i'm nuts about you!" you attempted to joke, laughing as you said it.
jonah looked at you with a smile. he couldn't get over how incredibly beautiful you were and how adorable your laugh was.
he shook his head, laughing at the fact you found it so funny even though it was just a basic little joke.
"gosh i love you," he said without thinking.
as soon as he said it both of your heads turned to look at each other. your eyes wide as he placed a hand over his mouth.
yes he loved you but he wasn't planning on telling you this way.
"you love me?" you questioned, speaking softly with a hopeful smile.
"i do," he admitted.
"i love you," you replied, hugging him tightly as you smiled big.
