To all my loyal readers... I decided to release another chapter...it's leading into a huge story twist that spans the next several chapters. The chapter isn't as long by my standards but I think it's a good wrap on what has happened and what's to come.  Enjoy and thanks for all the love and support for all of the stories you all truly make my heart sing every week.  Love y'all!!!

Christian POV

Just as Ana crashes out Taylor and I walk out into the hallway. "Taylor I know those words had a double meaning to them, can you explain that please". He sighs "Ana is going to be like this for a while if not permanently, we can't carry her or baby her. She needs to feel like she is the same no matter what condition her eyes are. The doctors want her to maintain her typical life despite her limitations right now. That's why they gave her the cane and had her work with me so she can have that independence. You saw how I guided her not leading her"? I nod at that and he continues "That's how we all are to walk with her, being there as a support not a crutch or a lifeline. You know how Ana likes to do on her own. It bothers her needing assistance of any kind. We just need her to adjust to where she won't always need someone. Hopefully her eyes come back sooner than later". I nod at this "Taylor don't mention anything yet about Ana being home. I want the kids surprised when she comes out of the room". He nods and goes to his office.

The kids came home and started their daily routine of homework then releasing the pent up energy from school. I notice Gail has made Ana's favorite, Fried Chicken and home made milk gravy with biscuits. Also vegetables and sparkling apple cider as this is a celebration, Ana being home. I have kept the kids from knowing all afternoon, when I call them down for dinner. I ask Taylor to help Ana come to the table, sitting next to me so I can help her, I imagine she will need some help with her food. I don't want to take away from her, but there are some practicalities that are obvious that help is needed. As the kids settle around the table, they noticed an empty place besides me. "Kids I have a surprise for you all. The best kind there is". As I finish saying this Taylor guides Ana into the dining room. The kids go wild Ana breaks into a huge smile "Ahh my babies, how much I have missed you. I am doing better, but my eyes aren't 100% yet, so let me sit before you all tackle me". She sits in her seat and the kids rush over to hug and kiss her. I cant believe the goddess I married and she has given me the most perfect angels possible.

Over the last few months things have gotten better, Ana has been doing her meditations and getting around better everyday. Her eye sight has gotten better, its just not 100% yet. Since Ana's accident we are living life more fully I think, wanting to make sure we love and appreciate each other. Teddy's birthday came and went, Ana was upset because her vision isn't where she wants it, she's feeling like is passing her by. Nothing could be farther from the truth, she is the life and happiness of this family.

Sadly every happy time for my family is shrouded in clouds. Taylor received word Elena has escaped custody. Sawyer Taylor and I are working to secure everyone, working out senerios for what could be coming. My only thought is that Ana's vision has finally returned better than ever. Ok it's not 100% but she can see and drive, although she had to retake the driver's road test.

I haven't told Ana yet what is going on with Elena, I know she will be frightened and worried because it means Elena wants me and will hurt Ana to get to me. I can't and won't allow Ana or my family be hurt, just because of a psychotic bitch who won't take no for an answer. Ana though is becoming suspicious, so she may find out sooner than later. I am still hoping for later.
