Chapter Eight

Jasmine POV...

Everyone making a big deal out of me not showing up at Jackson party. I saw alot of messages and posting on Facebook and Instagram asking why I didn't show up at Jackson party.

Monday morning....

I stepped out of the shower and wrap myself in a towel, I plug in the hair dryer and start blowing out my hair. A soon as I can no longer feel water from my hair, I unplug the blow dryer and put it away. I put my hair in a neat messy bun and do my makeup before getting dress. I then put on my baby blue dress that hugs my curves perfectly, with that I slide in my black heels and grab my black designer bag.

I walk to the kitchen and saw everyone having breakfast including him Jamar, all eyes turn to me as a approach the kitchen.

"Good morning kitten" dad said taking a bite from his toast.

"Good morning Jasmine" Mary and Monica said at once.

Jamar nodd his head and smirk, I don't know what the hell is that. He looked his eyes on me and I realized I didn't reply to them.

"Good morning everyone" I said with a forcefully smile.

"You're in a good mood today?" Monica ask rhetorically "come have breakfast with us" she press on smiling.

"I'm not....... I pause and look at Jamar before completing my sentence. " I'll love to" I finally said and draw out a seat.

Mary share me a plate of what they were eating and a cup off hot chocolate. I feel uncomfortable under Jamar stare everytime Monica say something to me and I want to shut her out.

After breakfast I walk behind him to the Jeep and he open the door for me, I hop in without a word and I heard him clear his throat and hanging on to the door.

"What!" I said rudely

"Where's your manners? Haven't I made myself clear of how things will be if I kept you from going to boarding school." He said "please get back out of the car and enter again properly" he continued

"What is wrong....... I start off but stop when he flash in phone in my face with my dad number dial.

I frown but quickly replace it with a fake smile and exit the car, he close the door then open it again. I Sigh softly then I hop back in the car.

" Thank you Mr Cole " I said with a fake smile.

He stare at me with a smirk then close the door and enter the driver's seat and drive off.

I feel person eyes pacing through my skin and whispering as I enter the school hallway. I know there referring to why I didn't showed up at Jackson party Saturday. I ignore their stare and whispered and held my head up high walking towards my locker. I enter my locker code and start putting away the things I don't need for first period.

"Jas I can't believe you didn't showed up Saturday night" Chelsea said opening her locker which was next to mine.

"I couldn't get out, actually I tried but I got caught" I explained

"By who? Your Dad?" She ask at once.

"No my bodyguard...... He's been watching me like an ark" I said frustrated.

"What about your magic you use on guys to get what you want?" She said raising her brows.

"Well Miss Hastings that won't work on me because I don't take bribe and I don't do little girl like
you". His voice play in my head as I remember about Saturday, am not that little I'll be eighteen in two weeks. My magic work on everyone even Mr Harris, what's so different about him and I bet he's younger.

" Jasmine! Jas! " Chelsea call breaking me from my angry thoughts.

"Huh? Oh it didn't work on him, he said he don't do little girl like me and he don't take bribe, he threatened to tell my dad If I continue being disrespectful to person around me especially that witch Monica" I said more like curse.

I slam my locker shut just by the thought of being nice to Monica until who knows when. I waited on Chelsea to get her stuff from the locker as scan my eyes around for Chad.

"Look likes daddy kept his little pup on a leech, so she couldn't go wild at Jackson party Saturday night" Rachel voice said behind me.

"It's too early Rachel, go pick trouble somewhere else" Chelsea said angrily shutting her locker.

"It's OK chels, I'll handle her" I said to Chelsea

I was about to take on that red headed bitch when the bell rang and Mr Hilton the principal came out and rushing us to our classroom.

"You won this one Rachel but I'll get you later" I said as I brush pass her.

I hold chels hand and we walk to our maths class. My blood boiled up in my body because I didn't get the chance to answer Rachel. I'll see her later at practice, I might just pop get head off or .......

"Jas are you OK?" Chelsea ask as we walk in math class.

"Hmmm am good" I said calming my nerves.

The day run out smoothly and everyone forgot about the hot topic of me not being at Jackson party. I'm greatful school as come to an end but I still have practice to go and a team to lead. I was running late for practice because I have to go find Jamar and tell him am stopping at practice. I change into my gears and walk out on the field, we are doing and outdoor practice today. Everyone was already on the field I just got started right away.

"Ok girls and here now so get on your feet and do some squat then we'll continue our routine from last practice" I said loudly for everyone to hear.

"Why not just continue with the routine already?" Rachel frown

"Rachel you can feel free to leave if you want, no one need you here" I said harshly

She gave me a death glare which I return, I have plans for you Rachel you just wait. Everyone jump on there feet and start doing some squat. After a fifteen minutes of exercise we get to the routine.

"Rachel switch place with Summer" I said staring at her.

"Am not going in the back, I'm too good to be in the back" she complained.

"I'm only saying this once it's either you cheer in the back or get off the team" I said coldly " the last time I checked I was team captain and still is, so do as I say" I said bitterly.

She didn't say another word, she step in the back as summer cheers next to Chelsea and I lead at the front. After practice the girls go change but I got held up by my hot boyfriend.

"Hey baby, I hardly see you today I miss you so much" Chad said sticking his tongue down my throat.

"I miss you too babe, how have you been?" I said between kisses

"Other than wanting you am doing just fine" he said grabbing up my ass.

"Baby...... I was interrupted by someone clearing their throat.

" Miss Hastings I thought you said you have practice" a familiar voice said.

I look up on his face which shows a disgusting expression towards Chad and I. Chad frown about his interruption and left, I follow him to the Jeep and he drive me home in silent.
