Chapter Twenty Seven

Jamar POV....

I didn't cut my speed on my way to find Jasmine, cold sweat rush through my body and I can't stop worrying about her. I need to find her before he hurt her,  the signal of the tracking device leads on a lonely road with woods on both side. I continue speeding until I heard something like gunshot fire, I slow down and pull over the car. I notify the police where I was then jump out of the car with my gun and head through the woods.

"Get up you little bitch" I heard a deep voice yelled.

"I'm gonna punish you for misbehaving" he yelled again

I quietly walk in the direction, I hid behind a tree when I saw him pulling her by her hair and have a gun to her head. She looks terrify and weak under his hold that cause my heart rate to raise and anger take over my body.

"Let her go!" I shout pointing the gun to him.

"Jamar" her weak voice called

He grab her holding her under her neck and point the gun to her head.

"If you take a next step I blow her f**king brain out" he said angrily

"Drop the gun and step back" he added

"Please let her go" I beg

"Shut the f** k up and do what I say, drop the f**king gun" he shouts pressing the gun to her head.

Tears start running down her face and I feel so helpless can't save her, I slowly drop the gun and step back.

"Who the hell are you always getting into the way of me and my wife?" he said pointing the gun to me.

"No!!! Please don't hurt him, I'll come with you and do whatever you want please" she cried

"Shut up Jasmine, I have to kill him he's always getting into our way" he bark

Jasmine POV.....

He still points for he gun towards Jamar and I keep crying and begging him not to hurt him. Suddenly were heard the police coming and helicopter flying over us, he grab me and point back the gun at me as the police surround us. 

"Let the girl go Harris, you're surrounded" one of the officer said.

"Stand back or else I'll kill her" he shouts pressing the gun to my head.

I then saw dad stood behind the officers and I Start to cry, he was gonna kill me and I won't see my family or Jamar again. Jamar still in the same position looking scared as  me, i just want this too over. I don't want to die, why is he doing this too me.

"Please don't kill me Mr Harris" I whispered to him.

"Shut up Jasmine, you cause this if you didn't run away we would be at home like we should be" he whispered back angrily.

"Please just let me go you need help, they will help you just let me go" I whispered crying.

"I don't need help, send them away tell them we are getting married and have our son together" he said between gritted teeth.

I saw Jamar staring at us while reaching for his gun, tried to talk to Mr Harris to distract him from seeing him. I wonder how they would shoot him without me getting hurt. He hold me so close to him I could feel his heart beat pounding in my back.

"I don't want them to hurt you Mr Harris, so please put the gun away so they can get help for you" I whispered sobbing

"I don't need f**king help, I won't let you go so you can have a happy life with someone else...... No no Jasmine you belongs to me" he shouts angrily.

"Mr Harris drop your weapon and release the girl" the same officer said.

"You'll have to kill us both, if I die my wife die along with me" he shouts angrily.

I saw the worried look on dad face and the fear in Jamar eyes. This can't be the end of my life, Jamar and I just got started and I can't leave my dad like this. This man is so crazy and he needs help, but on the other hand I'll see my mom again

Jasmine stop being foolish this is serious, he has a damn gun to your head that will cause your life .

The little voice in my head scream at me, but there's no way I'm gonna make it out alive with this crazy man holding his stupid gun to my head. Even though the police surround him, I still don't feel safe or that I have a chance of living. Jamar signal me to get low but how the hell am I gonna do that?

Father please help me am about to do something stupid, I swing my elbow very hard in his side and get low as his hands loosen my neck. I them heard a shot over my head and he fell to the floor, I look up on Jamar pointing the gun. I looked down on him on the ground holding his right hand where he got the shot, he try to reach out for his gun but Jamar kick it away. The police rush over to him and I run into Jamar arms crying on his chest.

"I though I was gonna die leave you" I cried

"I wouldn't let that happen Jas, I'll always protect you remember that" he said softly kissing my forehead.

"How did you find me?" I asked softly

"I told you if you wear this all the time, I'll always be with you" he said pointing to the bracelet " I place a tracking device in it" he added.

I crash my lips on his and start kissing him hungrily, we heard a clear throat behind us and I looked up seeing dad cold face staring at us unpleased.

"He knows about us" Jamar whispered pulling a way.

"Dad I'm so sorry......" I trail crying

"It's OK kitten I'm just glad you're safe" he said pulling me in a tight hug " you were so brave kitten I thought I was gonna loose you " he added

My dad hug me so tight and didn't want to let go, I looked at Mr Harris being taken away by the police. I'm glad he wasn't dead but he need help, he's insane. Am glad I can be with my family and Jamar again.

"Jamar thank you for saving my daughter's life, but I mean what I said earlier today, I don't want you anywhere around my daughter" Dad said coldly to Jamar.
