Chapter Twenty Two

Everyone eyes turn to us and I quickly pull away from Chad feeling embarrassed.

"You're such a bitch Jasmine" Rachel scream

I didn't have the strength to argue with her because all eyes were on Me and I feel embarrassed. Dad has a disappointing look and I quickly excuse myself outside. I walked over to the maze lane and sit on the bench thinking about all that's has happened. I shouldn't kissed chad although I can't stand Rachel I actually feel bad for kissing her boyfriend.

" You shouldn't being out here alone after what happened Miss Hastings " his voice said walking towards me in the dark.

"Don't you have a date to go back to?" I said rudely

"Yes I do but am also you bodyguard I should keep you safe, get back inside" he instructed.

"No I don't want too" I pout crossing my leg and folding my arms.

He walked closer to me and I pulled back into the bench, but he didn't stop. I start to feel nervous and my knees shaking hard, I shouldn't have any feelings leave for him but they are still in there. My back bump at the arm of the bench and he stop in front me.

"Why are you running away from me Jasmine? Don't you like me anymore?" He said with a smirk

"I can't stop liking you idiot  am in love with your stupid ass"  that's what I want to tell him but I couldn't, I don't want to be rejected again.

"Am not running and no I don't like you anymore" I said turning my head away.

"Stop lieing Jasmine its still there" he chuckled

"On second thought I think I should get back inside" I said getting up.

He push me back gentle on the seat and hover over me with his beautiful brown eyes burning through my skin. His hands on both side of my shoulder and his lips a little inch from mine. I could feel his minty breath on my face and his expensive man cologne fill my nose, Gosh he smell damn good.

Don't act stupid again Jasmine, don't kiss him like the last time.

My inner self blurt out which slap me to reality and I tried to get out of his hold.

"Let me go, I need to......" I trail before he cuts me off.

"Why did you kiss him Jasmine?" He asked in a angry tone.

"Excuse me that's  none of your business" I answered rudely.

"You are my..... He was cut off.

Everyone shouts and firework start blasting in the air, I  quickly removed from his hold and walked way to get back inside. As I tried to find my way out of the maze I heard footsteps behind me.

" Jamar leave me alone please " I said without looking back.

I feel someone grab my arms and pull me back into the chest.

"Did you miss me Jasmine? You look so elegant in this dress" a deep familiar voice whisper in my ears.

I start to trembling and turn around my eyes met with a pair of blue one's. I scream and tried to run but he pull me back  and leading me through the maze.

"Let me go you pervert" I yelled forcing out of his hands.

"I'm never letting you go Jasmine I always have this thing for your body and I need to explore. No one will save you now not even the police" he said roughly rubbing his hands over my body.

"HELP! HELP! Somebody help me!" I scream.

He place his hands over my mouth so nothing could come out.

"Jasmine! Jasmine! Where are you?" I heard Jamar shout

I bite his hands hard and scream " Am over here Jamar! Help please! " I cried

"You bitch your gonna sorry when am finish with your little Virgin ass" he said with a evil smirk.

How the hell did he know am a Virgin? He pull me through the maze but then gunshots fire in the air and Jamar appear infront of us. He let me go and I fell on the ground hard, he run away and Jamar chase after him with a gun in his hands. I was so shocked I couldn't get up off the ground, I feel someone pulling me up and I start to scream again.

"Leave me alone! Leave me alone!" I cried and pulling from the person.

"Jasmine its me, its Jamar its OK I got you" he whispered in my ears.

He pulled me in his arms and comforting me, I didn't feel angry with him anymore I feel safe. I wrapped my hands around his waist and cried on his chest.

"He's.... He's ....gonna come after me again" I cried

"Jasmine I'll protect you with my life, he can't run for long he will be caught and locked away for life" he said rubbing my hair.

"Thanks for saving me and sorry....." I trail

"It's OK Jasmine no need to apologize, I'm sorry too...... He didn't finish his sentence.

I heard dad calling and we walked out of the maze, he let go off me and I run into dad's arm and start crying again.

" Am so sorry kitten, I promise I'll keep you safe and I fail am so sorry Jasmine" dad apologize sadly

"It's not your fault that I shouldn't come out here alone" I said sobbing.

"Jamar are you OK?" Amanda said running towards Jamar.

She wrapped her arms around him and my stomach feel bad, I didn't want to think about them right now.

I'm  in danger....
