Chapter Twenty One

Jamar POV....

I watched  her having lunch with her friends, talking and laughing like I didn't exist. She hasn't talked to me from Christmas dinner even though I tried talking to her she ignored me. I'm planning on telling Amanda am not taking her to that stupid New years party but she gonna flip and act all crazy and stuff.  Her friend left with her boyfriend I suppose leaving her with that Chad boy. A urge of jealousy build up in my body and I clenched my fist tight, I don't like to see her in with him but what can I do.

They both sit in silence until she start talking, she look like she's choking on her soda then suddenly she rushed to the bathroom leaving him alone. I feel good about that but suddenly a scream came from the bathroom and I ran to see what's wrong. Chad was infront of me so he get to her first.

"What's wrong Jasmine?" He asked concerned

"Are you OK Jasmine" I said that worried.

"He....he...was... I'm scared Chad" she stammered crying.

She hold on to him and he wrapped his arms around her, I feel a pin stick me in the heart watching her in another man arms. I tried to keep myself calm and walked in the bathroom to take a look but no one was inside. What could she be screaming about?

Jasmine POV...

He was standing behind me looking on me seriously, I start to scream and when I turn around he was gone. I rushed out of the bathroom and saw Chad with Jamar behind.

"What's wrong Jasmine?" Chad asked concerned

"Are you okay Jasmine?" Jamar said after.

He...he....was I'm scared Chad " I stammered crying.

I hold and to Chad without thinking and he wrapped his arms around me. I realized I didn't answer Jamar and I didn't care, his face has a weird expression as he pass us and went in the bathroom. I was still holding on to Chad when he came back out.

"I think I should bring you home Jasmine, you're a little shaking up" he said calmly

"You should go Jas we'll talk later" Chad said pressing his lips on my forehead.

It's feel so good to be in his arms again but we are no long together, he's with someone and I'm still liking Jamar but still I did the weirdest thing ever. I lean into to Chad and kiss him passionately and to my surprise he kiss back.

"I'll see you later Chad" I said softly after pulling from the kiss.

"Are you OK?" He asked worried

"I'm fine see you later" I said.

I wave him goodbye as I follow behind Jamar who looked damn piss about something. I kinda feel like asking him what's wrong but am not talking to him and he didn't talk to me either. I can't believe I just saw him or is my mind fooling me because he couldn't left so quickly and he didn't hurt me.

Later that evening....

Dad hired extra securities for his party after I told them what I thought I saw and the text message I got last week. I finish off dressing my self and stared in the mirror then walk through the door. I have to drive with Jamar and his date Amanda to the party.

When I arrive there were six securities at the gate, three on both side. I make my way in as the annoying couple follow behind me, the place was well design as always with delicious foods laid out on the tables, music blasting in the air and everyone dress formally. I saw Chad and Rachel, his eyes were glue to me while she talking her mouth off. I then look around and saw Jackson and Chelsea dancing. Dad and Monica hosting the party, Amanda all over Jamar giggling and I was all alone single.

"Are you OK Jas?" I heard Chelsea voice behind me "

"Am OK Chelsea don't have worry about me go back to Jackson" I said forcing a smile.

"Jas your not OK, what's wrong? What happened earlier at the restaurant?" She press on

I know this girl, she is never gonna give up.

"Chelsea...... I was cut of by dad.

He was knocking the glass with the spoon to get everyone's attention, people start to gather around the stairs.

" Good evening to you all, thanks you all for making it out tonight. As we walk in the New years I pray that God will carry us through and we will have a wonderful New years. Please feel free to eat and drink as much as you want tonight is the end of this year so enjoy yourselves " he said excitingly.

Person start to clap and cheer, they all get back to what they were doing. I'm glad Chelsea is back dancing with Jackson, I wouldn't want anyone know that I am the girl Mr Harris tried to raped.

"Hey feeling better?" Chad said pulling me in s corner.

"Yea....yes am fine, what are you doing?" I asked confused

"Jas I miss you when you kiss me today I remember the good times we use to had and I want it back with you" he explained causing me to get speechless.

"Chad the kiss was a mistake, I wasn't thinking straight beside your with Rachel now" I said softly

"I can break up with her just to be with you am sorry for leaving Jas please just take me back" he said sincerely.

I don't know why I'm thinking about this but I actually feel like giving us another chance. Before I could finish thinking his lips we making out with mine.

"Chad what are you doing?" Rachel voice echo the room.

What's wrong with me? So stupid
