Forbidden

The day has gone so fast;
We're seating on the shore watching the sunset.
The cold dusk air cares my face,
As you held my hand and gaze.

The sea breeze touches my skin,
As my hair dances with the wind.
I felt a great feeling inside me,
And touches the heart within me.

I painted a smile on my face,
As I glanced at you happily;
You're so great and sweet,
I can't help myself but fall for you.

You looked at me
And gave me the sweetest smile no one ever sees,
You touched my face and kissed my lips
Embraced me tight and bid goodbye.

"Goodbye!", I heard someone whispered in my ears;
I quickly woke up and uttered...
"Oh, a dream!" 
I gazed at my place, I was alone
my hand touches my lips.
"He kissed me!" I said,
with a smile and misty eyes.

Realization hit me.
I shook my head involuntarily.
I don't want to feel this thing!
I don't want it! It was forbidden!

For how many times I told myself;
I'm not going to love you!
Today, tomorrow, in the future!
And oh! I will never do!

You came into my life unexpectedly 
You made changes in me.
I would never let myself fall for you,
'Coz I know you'll reject me!

I'm so afraid to feel this emotion;
I hate it the way I hate myself!
" I won't fall for you I promise!"
Not to love you is the last thing I can do.
