Goodbye with a smile

I really don’t care what other people say,

I thought he was the boy that I waited for;

But I’m wrong!

I gave all my time to him,

Thinking that he felt something for me,

But mistake was on my way.

And now I realized

That I have just put myself

At the dark side of the road

Upon knowing him

So I’d rather go

Than to waste my time

Waiting for the boy

That even once

Don’t treat me as I am.

It’s hard to say goodbye

But it makes me calm

When I see him

Happy with someone else

Better than me. . .
