"Airports, Airplanes, Luggages, that kind of thing." Soyeon sighed, going to take a sip of coffee but realizing that her drink was finished.
"Really?" Eunhee glanced at the raven haired woman, confused over the concept "Departure", the one that JK had chosen himself.
"No, of course not! I don't even know this JK man, more or less his thoughts about concepts in photos! He didn't even add any more writing other than random phrases in the file, the only thing he gave was this folder. Who does that?" Soyeon continued to rant as Eunhee flipped through the folder once more, trying to find a connection between each page and "Departure".
Needing more coffee, Soyeon had left the office with Eunhee flipping through the booklet. She was reading through the booklet when the door swung open behind her as she was typing in notes about the concept onto her phone.
"That was real fast Soyeon but damn, I was just about to text you to check up on if we have any Arizona tea left, right after I finished notes on this bizarre concept." She groaned when she flipped to the next page of the booklet and was faced with a single word with a chaotic mess of phrases and words connected and strung to it.
She sighed, starting to read all the smaller points. "I swear this JK guy might be a bit insane- I mean look at all this! It doesn't make any sense." She groaned in frustration then realized that Soyeon hadn't said anything yet. It was unusual as Soyeon would usually have something new to talk about every 3 minutes.
She shifted herself and turned around on the couch to face the doorway and it resulted in her almost crashing faces with someone-
who wasn't Soyeon.
Her eyes widened and she whipped back and stood up, her body away from the stranger in an instant. She dropped the booklet onto Soyeon's desk before facing the stranger again.
The stranger was a man. He was taller than Eunhee, about the height where his head could rest comfortably on her head if he relaxed. He was also quite broad, his clothes stretching a bit against his chest. The stranger was clad in black, from black boots to black hat. The only thing that wasn't the shade of black was his white face mask that covered half of his features, revealing only his eyes to her. His brown eyes seemed to pierce through her as they stared at each other silently.
Talk about emo, she thought when she finished her short scan of the man. Before she could think of anything else, the fact that it was a manager's office sprung into her head.
"What are you doing in here? This is Soyeo- Manager Lee's office. No one can just barge into this room without permission." She crossed her arms, eyebrow raising. It was true- this room wasn't someplace for anyone like him to enter. He looked like some kind of moody intern anyway.
The stranger didn't respond and just stared at her- was that amusement in his eyes? His mask was covering his lips but she imagined a small smirk from the emotion in his eyes. She scoffed in disbelief but continued to inform the stranger.
"Interns go to Minhee's office, it's on the 3rd floor. She's the photography manager around here." She suggested, getting slightly annoyed at how silent the stranger was.
When he didn't say anything for the next few minutes, she shrugged and started heading for the door.
"Where's the set?" A slightly deep voice rung through the room before she could twist the door handle. Startled, she let out a small squeak, getting a chuckle from the stranger. She acted like nothing had happened and faced the stranger. He turned around and leaned on the back of the couch, eyes glinting with an emotion she couldn't decipher.
She regained her posture and confidence before replying. "Interns don't go to set unless they've been put to that stage."
"I'm not an intern."
She stared at him confused, but before she could ask any questions, her phone rang with an obnoxiously loud ringtone of Big Bang's "Bang Bang". She jolted with the vibration from her pocket and snatched it out, sliding it to her cheek. She ignored the "not-an-intern" stranger's amused gaze before responding.
"Hello? Why did yo-"
"Kim Eunhee, WHERE ARE YOU?" Taehyung's voice crackled through the phone, his loud voice causing her to cringe.
"I'm in Soyeon's office- currently dealing with a odd stranger." She shamelessly stated, lazily glancing at the stranger who was still watching her.
"Stranger or not, you need to get here! It's an emergency!" Taehyung's husky voice shouted before he hung up without getting a response.
She stared at her phone for a few seconds until she was brought out of her daze by a cough.
The stranger had spoken up. "Are you going to go help Taehyung?"
Woah, his voice was- something. His voice rang through her head; it wasn't deep and husky like Taehyung's, it wasn't light and adorable like Jimin's, but it was so, intriguing.
She snapped out of her trance before she scoffed at the stranger and rushed out of the office.
The one thing she had flown past was how the stranger knew Taehyung.
