Soichiro's POV
"Ah sorry, I'm late again today." I say while speed-walking to my seat, I took off my coat and proceed in browsing the files that had been left in the table.
"Chief is late today again, I wonder what happened." Matsuda mutter to himself,
"You're talking outloud, Matsuda." Aizawa sweatdropped,
"Eh? Ahahaha.. my bad."
"It's my son."
"Eh? Yagami Light?!"
"Yes, He's awake and is fine. I just visited him yesterday and came back home late." I reply,
"Where's those fo--"
"Ah, you're here, Yagami-san." The door opened and L, Mello, Near, and Matt walked in,
"Sorry for being late, L."
"Tardiness will be ignored today,"
"Everyone is here it seems." Near say to himself,
"GET TO WORK YOU LAZY BSTARD, WE NEED TO CATCH KIRA!!" *munchmunch*,
"Shut up Mells, Eat and talk at a different time will you." Matt sigh and continue playing his game,
"Language, Mello."
"Tch. Fine, L."
"It seems your son is fine I believe." L say while biting his thumbs,
"Eh.. yea.. "
"I'm happy for you." Not really, "Then we could start interrogate him.
"What?"
"My deduction says that he somehow involves with Kira." L says while taking a seat and eat his cakes,
"What makes you think.."
"Your son is very intelligent isn't he." L says while looking over Light's personal record,
"Ah.. indeed he is, he's always the topest in his school.."
"Hmn, a nerd." Mello snickers, which only get hushed by Matt and Near,
"But, L. If I may ask, what makes you think Light knows Kira?" Kitamura ask,
L stopped eating and point the spoon towards Kitamura, "Light is Kira."
"WHAT?!" I scream,
"I can't think of anybody except him being Kira." L comes back to eating his cakes,
"But, L.. He's been coma for months!! How could he kill people if he's pratically dead *cough* asleep?" Matsuda ask, confused.
"We'll ask him then. Of how he kills people." L pressed a button,
"Watari? Pick Light-kun up and bring him here."
"Alright."
"Wait!! As a father this is wrong! My son won't ever done that!"
"But you son seems to have a complex towards justice." Near say while playing with his puzzles,
"That doesn't make Light--"
"L, I pick him up. Shall I return with him to the HQ or.."
"Bring him here please."
"Alright."
"Wait, L!!" L is eating his third cake by now,
"Its ok Yagami-san." I look towards Matt, "We will just talk to him about Kira, that's all." Matt says while playing his games,
