First and Final Execution

"We would like to announce that the killing done by Kira is increasing rapidly in Japan and other countries. It seems that Kira now has now starting to kill politicians and other high ranking status instead of corrupted criminals and thieves, does that mean that Kira is no--"

A young man with a dark black hair switched off the tv featuring Kiyomi Takada announcing "Kira news" for the day, he put away his glasses and rubs his eyes.

'Kami...'

The man sigh in disappointment.

"Misa thinks that this is wrong.." Misa says with much disappointment, hearing the news she saw on the giant screen on the buildings,

"Is Misa doing the right thing..? Hey Rem,"

She turn around, no Rem in sights. Just people surrounding her also hearing the news, whispering about Kira abussing his power.

"....not in the mood for work, I'll just go home."

"What do you mean by Kira is killing other innocent people rather than the criminals?!" Mlelo shouted as he bangs his hands on the table after hearing the news,

"You're right, but don't you think this is a trap to lure us from the truth? By killing innocent people.." Near commented,

"This... This doesn't make sense.." L whisper,

"WHAT?!"

"I know for sure that Kira is a not a person who do such things.. Iie, he can but only with a reasons.. Killing politicians wouldnt do him any favour in confusing us.. so.. why..?

Everyone in the room is now confuse of the sudden news, except for a particular man with red eyes.

"He will do it sooner or later.. so does that mean I should sentence him to death?"

"That's what your duty is, ours was just killing soon-to-be dead humans, ouji-sama."

"... This might not be that bad, it can confuse L and the other Whammys bastards.. I'll be going now then."

"Ryuuku, Sidoh, go follow ouji-sama."

A laughter could be heard in the top floor of Yotsuba buildings, in all of the rooms only one that is dark inside,

"HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA AHAHAHHAHHAHAH AHAHAHHAHHA"

"WHO.. WHOSE THERE?"

A black figure is sitting on the table, holding the Death Note he's writing on,

"WHA... THOSE ARE MINES!"

"You've writen alot of names in here don't you?"

Higuchi walk towards his Death Note whose being held by a black figure,

"G.. GIVE IT BACK!" he try to snatch the book back but was pushed back by a cold wind,

"?!"

"This isn't yours, I believe its time to give it back." The figure toss the book away and the Shinigami appeared,

"O.. Oi.. Sidoh.. Ryuk.. My death not-"

"HUKHUKHUKHUK"

"Ryuk?"

"Sorry buddy, but it seems time's up."

"Wha..?"

A death scythe appeared next to the black figure.

"Would you try dying for once?"

"And on today's news, another politiciants of Yotsuba's leader named Kyosuke Higuchi died brutally with stabs everywhere on his body. His blood are all on the floor, no one seems to identify what murder weapon the murder is using and no signs of clues are seen yet by the police. Is this the work of Kira?"

3 years have passed since the last of Kira's killing, Kyosuke Higuchi was the last of Kira's victims and all operations of chasing down Kira have stopped including L's team.

No one knows who the real culprit is, even L.

Yagami Light the son of Yagami Soichiro, the head of the Japan's police, died after two days of Higuchis death. It seems that the effect of his accident causes him to not being able to live much longer and then died.

The Yagami cried of the lost of his son, siblings. The rest of Soichiro's colleagues felt guilty for suspecting him.

But not L.

L knows that this is just the starting of yet another crimes... Much more harder than what he's solved in the past.

And all this he knows because of a letter sent to him after Yagami Light died.

The letter was kept a secret, only the Whammys knows including Beyond.

Soon after, Beyond was temporary released from the prison and was kept captive by L Lawliet. The officers agree to this terms because he was the one who help them capturing the most dangerous criminal, Beyond Birthday.
