Chapter 9

It's almost been a week since we visited the hospital and (y/n) had been doing better thankfully. Rap Monster Let us off the hook from work due to her sickness so here we were stuck in her house as I still took care of her.
Though she still wasn't able to talk since she lost her voice. Only at times would it return but it sounded deeper and scratchy than her normal voice.
Just like now. She would usually last about 30 minutes talking. Sometimes an hour but it depends on how much and how long she talks.
(y/n) - "do you have a girlfriend?" She asked as we were talking and playing video games on her console.
"No... do you have a boyfriend? I bet you do. You have to have a boyfriend" I said smiling as we continued playing Call of Duty.
(y/n) - "heck no. I've never dated anyone and are you sure you never had a girlfriend?" She asked and I chuckled.
"Yea I'm sure" I said as we both died. Tired of playing as we laid on the couch tiredly. Though (y/n) keeping her distance as she didn't want me to get sick.
"Hey. Now that I think about it. Your warming up to me" I said smiling as she just scoffed
(y/n) - "well it would be rude if I just ignored the person who was taking care of me.. plus it's not like I fully trust you or anything yet" she said as her voice faded in the end. Making her pout a bit as I laughed. Seeing as her voice disappeared once again.
"Well you can. I will always be by your side to protect and take care of you that's why" I said and she just shrugged.
(y/n) - "I will too" she whispered. Barely audible.
Soon enough another day has passed and she has finally returned to normal despite her voice that was still gone.
As of now we were getting ready to go to work since I had stayed over her place once again so make sure she was ok.
(y/n) - "hurry up" She croaked out as we were in front of her house. Entering her Lexus RC as she had a Lexus LFA parked in the garage. Her truck parked in the driveway though almost out of gas at the moment.
"Just wait" I yelled as I locked her house. Carrying my uniform shirt and tactics pants as (y/n) was in her black tactical stryke pants and a red button up with the first button unbuttoned as she had a black blazer on her lap. I quickly got into the passenger seat as she put her side bag in the back seats. Soon driving to our workplace. As we got out of the car she put on her black flats and we went inside the building. Bowing to other staff and police members.
Suga - "Yah! Your suppose to be at home!" He yelled as me and (y/n) turned around from entering the elevator.
"Ah no. She got better. It's just her voice" I said smiling gently as (y/n) nodded. Keeping a blank face on. Yet she looked a bit confused.
Suga - "are you kidding me?" He asked as (y/n) nodded her head no. Soon we all entered the elevator and headed up to the 15th floor. Bowing to Jin guys as we made our way to our desks in the back.
Dino - "glad to have you guys back at work!" He said as he hugged us. Making us laugh though (y/n) laughed silently due to her voice not being able to be audible as she covered her mouth with the back of her hand.
Jackson - "Yah! Your back! I thought you died!" He said hugging the female as she was about to sit on her chair.
Coups - "leave the poor girl alone Jackson. She was just sick" he said as Jackson just pouted. Walking off to his desk as I smiled. Getting to work.

(y/n)'s POV
As I went through all my emails and paper work. I silently moved my head side to side lightly as I had a tune in my head. Though not being able to hum to it due to my loss of voice.
Mina - "my girl is back!" I heard her yell as my head shot up along with the boys.
Rap Mon - "I knew it was a bad idea to bring her up here with me" he said as he got out of the elevator too. Mina running over to me and hugging me. Causing me to drop my pen as I luckily was done signing a couple papers.
Puffing my cheeks out as I made a kissy face at the same time. Though my eyes squinting as I was being hugged by the female. Rocking side to side as Rap Mon walked up to my desk as Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook, j-Hope and Suga did so too. Taking out a note pad as I saw them.
Mina - "it's been boring without you here! The building wasn't as lively anymore! And the staff and police and the other workers in all the other departments you usually work at kept asking where you were. We thought you were dead!" She said as I pursued my lips staying quiet as I couldn't talk.
Mina - "why aren't you talking to me!" She whined like a child as I giggled though it not being heard.
Suga - "she can't talk according to both her and Joshua" he said as they all now stood and sat around my desk. Jungkook having his chair by mines as he leaned against his own chair.
I looked at V before writing on the notepad. Asking how his shoulder was doing since it had now been a month and a week since he got shot at the amusement park.
V - "it's doing better!" He said cheerfully making me smile as I wrote on my notepad again.
'sorry I couldn't protect you... it's my fault you got shot' I wrote before showing it to him. The boys all nodding their heads no with a dissatisfied look resting on their features.
Jimin - "it's the other way around. We protect you since you are the female. Same with Mina. We protect her" he said and I shrugged. Not caring.
V - "plus it's fine... I don't mind. It just adds on to how strong I am cause I have a scar now!" He cheered as me and the boys laughed.
Dino, Jackson, Coups and Joshua glancing our way at times as they continued their work.
Though we all looked at Suga who sighed. Taking out his phone as he answered the call.
I shrugged as Mina sighed, the two of us looking away as I continued to sign paper work.
Suga - "we're all going somewhere. Let's go" he said and I nodded as I slipped on my blazer. Mina also wearing her black tactical stryke pants along with a white long sleeved button up and a blazer.
"Where are we going?" I asked catching them off guard with my voice.
Suga - "Joshua your coming too. And stop talking will you!" He scolded me as he hit the back of my head lightly.
"Where are we going then?" I mumbled
Suga - "to a club..." he sighed out and I made a disgusted face.
Jin - "what happened there?" He asked as we got out of the elevator. Entering the lobby as people bowed to Rap mon and us as we returned it.
Suga - "My boss said we can't use any cop cars or trucks and we can't go in there with our uniforms. So she has clothes for us to use... (y/n), by chance did you bring your car?" He said and I nodded my head.
Kookie - "Lexus LFA or RCF?" He asked and I held up two fingers.
Jimin - "the hell! You have an LFA and an RCF?!" He asked bewildered and I nodded my head as a yes. V and J-Hope whistling as I laughed silently.
Suga - "drive Jungkook to your house get the LFA. Hope go get your car, Rap Monster you too" he said as the two nodded. Walking off to the back of the building and going to the staff parking as me and Jungkook followed. I took out my keys as I unlocked the car, getting into the driver seat as Jungkook followed.
"Your 19 and your able to drive too" I said smiling though he chuckled.
Jk - "stop talking Alright? I don't want to keep thinking your some type of demon" he said and I laughed silently before backing up. Seeing J-Hope and Rap mon leaving their parking slots as I followed behind.

Jimin's POV
As we waited for the three to return to the front of the building we saw Rap Monsters Red Toyota Supra and J-Hope Subaru WRX STI.
Soon enough rounding the corner was a grey Lexus RCF with a cyan strip going horizontally on the sides of the car.
Suga - "that's my girl!" He called out happily as (y/n) left the building area.
"Damn..." I muttered. Amazed that she had a better car than me. Seeing as I only had a truck at the moment.
Suga - "Alright. She will know to meet us at my company building" he said as Rap Mon and J-Hope waited in their cars.
V - "she hasn't been to the building yet" he said and Suga made a face of realization. Deciding on waiting for her
Suga - "well. Anyways Jin your riding with Namjoon, Jimin your riding with Hoseok, V your riding with Kookie and Joshua your riding with (n/n) and Mina... and I'll be taking Jisoo with me" He said as he read off the list from his phone.
I looked over at Jin who blushed lightly as me and V started teasing him.
"There coming in hot!" I said as I heard the engines to the Lexus LFA and RCF.
V - "damn" he said as he stared at the white LFA and the grey, cyan striped RCF.
Jungkook - "damn..." he said as he got out of the car, grinning as he stared at the LFA he got out of. (y/n) getting out of the grey Lexus RC
Mina - "girl! Your rides are hot!" She said making me laugh as (y/n) laughed silently.
RM - "let's get going. We still need to dress" he said as I got into J-Hopes car.
Amazed at the interior design. Though watching as (n/n), Mina and Joshua entered the grey car behind us.
