I sit against the boarder of my bed. I grab my grey apple laptop and open it as I place it on my crisscrossed legs."How do I start this ?" I ask myself,speaking into my webcam.
"Well ,hey. I am Ethan. Ethan Grey.
I am an 18 year old sophomore in college with the mindset of a 7 year old.No offense to all seven year olds out there" I say placing my hand on the side of my cheek whispering the words "7 year old".
"I speak into my camera as if someone is listening,I act as if I have a fanbase,but really,it's just me talking to myself.I never really look back at these videos that I make,I just record them because it feels like someone's listening and I can record random things and be myself" I say shrugging my scrawny shoulders after finishing my sentence.
" I'm calling you 'guys' Grey hairs."I say with a pause as I ponder if the name is good enough or not for my non existing fans.
"Yes,that's good enough. We're all going to have grey hairs anyway" I say laughing at what seemed to be funny to me.
"It's August eighteenth,it's a Thursday and today's the first day of my sophomore year of college and I am not prepared.Ask me why. I dare you"I say into my webcam camera as if I was an unbalanced human being.
I put on a wig and play the role of a girl as I ask myself into the cam "why aren't you prepared?"with the wig on.
I take the wig off and revert to being Ethan. "I'm not prepared because I don't have my own dorm room"I say waving both hands in the air and turning in my rolling chair allowing the "audience" to take small peaks at my room.
"Ethan,you're late!" I hear my dads voice call out . "Coming!"I yell in response then turning back to my webcam, "Well,wish me luck my,non existing friends" I say into the cam and power my laptop off afterwards.
