Crowned: Most Likely to be Gay (✔️)

A week later, things have dialed down. It's crowning time after school is over and I couldn't be anymore nervous. I mean what other kid is gay at Stanford? None that we all know of.

Mason and I have gotten closer by texting everyday, he avoids me every time I say hi to him on campus though. He always covers up his excuses with "sorry I always had my headphones in" or "I never look at my surroundings i'm sorry". I'm going to his house  after crowning  is over ,it's going to be my first time going. I'm just glad I finally have a friend at Stanford,one that isn't a girl. Don't get me wrong,I love Stacey with everything I have but I just need a break sometimes.

After school is over everyone rushes to the campus' cafe for crowning. I walk into the cafe and immediately spot Chad. I hide out in a corner and stay there until further notice.

"Hey Mason" I say when I see him walking into the cafe. He gives me a quick smile then proceeds. See,he ignores me.

"ET? What are you doing over here?" Stacey asks as she opens the cafe door and walks over to me as I focus on the sound of her heels. "Shhh"I demand placing my finger over my puckered lips. "No. Why are you over here?" Stacey asks crossing her arms. "I'm hiding from Chad"I admitted. "Get up" Stacey says grabbing my arm and using her strength to get me off of the floor. "Alright let's go" she says dragging me into the cafe grasping onto my wrist. "Are you here for a shower!?" Chad calls out as we search for a seat. "Are you here to finally get laid?" Stacey defends as everyone's in 'ooo'.

"Alright everyone take a seat,or stand I don't care" says the girl who came into my class to explain the campus' "fun week".

"I'm Natalie and Here's how today will work. Go to the link up here" she says pointing at the projector behind her with a link and a code. "So after that there'll be names to choose from for each category. You will choose the name that you think should win that crown,and yeah. It shouldn't be that hard" she says sarcastically rolling her eyes.

"Let's begin" she says writing on her paper leaned against a clipboard. "First crowning is 'Crowned: Best Smile' "she says looking at her phone. "Please choose the name that you think best fits with this category" she says.

"Wooh!" A girl with blonde hair yells aloud. "Congratulations Kayla,please come get your crown"says Natalie. She really did have a nice smile.Kayla walks to the front of the room and Natalie places a silver crown on her head.

Thirteen crowns later,Natalie finally gets to the last two crowns. "Alright,hang in there,we have two more crowns" Natalie informs. "Next crown is 'most likely to be famous' please pick your best fit" Natalie commanded nicely.

"Okay your votes are in...Chad Cooper!"Natalie calls out. Chad walks to the front of the room giving everyone high fives. "Thank you. Thank you" he says taking the crown from Natalie's hand and putting it on himself.

"Okayyyy. Now that- that's over. Next crown is 'most likely to be gay' please pick your best fit" Natalie says. I looked down at my phone and my heart pasted a thousand beats a minute. I see my name and and put my hoodie over my head in embarrassment,slouching down in my chair and crossing my arms.

"Okay. Votes are in... Ethan Grey!" Natalie calls out. I stay still and don't move a muscle. "Ethan?" Natalie calls out searching for me in the room. "I'll take that" Stacey says walking to the front of the room and jokingly putting the crown on. "Thank you. Thank you" she says mimicking Chad leading to laughs.

"Thank you guys for participating , tomorrow's Coachella day. Please dress your best! Show up and show out".
