"W-A-K-E- WAAAAAAAKKE UP!!!" Adiar says obnoxiously. I only do it so he stop shouting at me. Once I take a shower, get dressed, are already at the Capitol. I know why Adiar is so exited for today, its because its the first time Panem gets to see every tribute as once in some ridiculous costume. Once we are there, I meet my stylists, Alexis, a woman about in her 20's with pink curly hair and golden eyelashes. Then, theres Brady, a man with spiky indigo blue hair and a neon green suit. Lastly, theres Adeline, a woman with golden long hair with a silver dress. They all look so weird.

Anyways, after Adiar introduces us, Brady says, "These tributes look so nice we won't even need any makeup on them!" They all laugh. I've never really tried makeup on, even though it looked nice, but I couldn't really afford it. However, they do wax our bodies so we don't have any hair except for our heads. It hurt really bad. After putting on a bunch of perfumes or whatever, they put on our suit. Its a black suit with a lightning bolt in the shape of a, "V" on our chest. It actually doesn't look so bad, so I try it on and it fits very nicely. Then, we wait in the hallway and I see all of the costumes from the other tributes. District 1's tributes are dressed like gems, which look ridiculous, Disitrct 2's tributes are dressed in suits that look like they're made out of brick houses. District 6 has a bunch of car parts on them, so they look like a robot that can turn into a car. District 7's tributes are dressed like trees of course, which looks dumb as usual. District 10's tributes are dressed like cows, which look the worst out of all of them, and District 12's tributes are dressed in big blocky black costumes, resembling coal I guess. Honestly, I think we look the best. Once the anthem begins to play, every tribute including us hops on our chariot. District 1 goes first in the tribute parade, meaning that we'll be seen fifth. Once we're there, to say that the place is humungous is an understatement. There are TV's plastered everywhere, and I see me and Jack a couple of times. I wave a couple of times and the crowd loves it. Once we stop in the front of the mansion, or whatever it is, our President, Corlana Snow, comes out to greet us. She's pretty skinny, has blue eyes and has grey hair.

"Welcome tributes," she says joyfully. The crowd roars in applause and cheering. ""We admire your sacrifice, courage, and determination." The crowd cheers again. They don't care about us, they just want to see us die.

"And we wish you, a happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor!" She says the same speech every year, so I know what she will say. We get pulled by the chariots into another hallway and we are greeted by our stylists, mentors, and Adiar. I go into the room and try to meet some of the tributes, and see the careers, who are clearly not interested in nerds. So, I talk to the girl from 3, a girl named Jessica. She has brown strait hair and she's wearing some sort of  electronic suit. She's actually pretty nice, and if I were to make a team, she'd be in it. Then, I talk to the girl from 7, Aspen. She really likes nature and all of that, and her profession was a lumberjack. Then, I talk to the boy from 7, Gray, who was a lead climber at his home district. I then talk to the boy from 11, Codie, a kid with huge muscles, since he used to work in the field a whole lot. I take a look at the pair from 12 and they look like skeletons. Gross. After this, we go to the apartment.
