Brunch.

- My POV -

"Who was that?" KC asked. "Geoffrey." "What did he want?" "Nothing. Eat your damn pancakes and shut up!  You're better when you're quiet!" "You're so mean to me," she says offended. "I'm not. It's just you woke me up early. Now, I am grumpy. I could have slept in until twelve today." I state, annoyed. "But it's eleven, and you're eating pancakes with your best friend. You're welcome." "I hate you." "Aw, I feel the love. I love you too." I laughed because it was true. She's been there since day one.

We finished eating and I took KC home. Then, I went home for a while and left to work.

When it was time to leave, I raced out of that place and went to better myself at home for the "hanging out" with Geoffrey.

I was anxiously waiting. When the clock hit four, I sat waiting until my phones screen lit up. When I saw the name "Geoffrey" my heart skipped two beats. "Hello? " "I'm outside of your front door!" he said, then I heard a knock. "Going." "Hurry, I'll be here waiting, Nicole." I smiled when he said that and opened the door. He still had his phone next to his ear. "Oh look, you look so beautiful, Nicole." "Not bad yourself. Please call me Nikki. Nicole is too weird." I said laughing. "Why, if it's your name?" "Yeah but I'm used to Nikki. It's shorter, Geoffrey." "Yes ma'am. I don't like Geoffrey. I'm used to Royce. You can call me whatever you want though." "How about Geo? It's shorter." I said smiling. "I can roll with that c'mon lets get going."

"Where are we going?" I asked getting into the car. "Wherever your little heart desires." "I don't really mind. I'm simple, anywhere is good." "Yes, I know. I learned that about you when we talked last night. That's why we're going to my house." he said. "To your house?" "Yes, to my house. Don't worry. I'm sure you will love it. I put a lot of thought into what I did." he stated. Although, I was confused. I went along with whatever was in store for the afternoon.
