I find myself dialing his phone number, but there is no answer. Please, don't tell me he changed his number. I guess there's only one thing left to do. The people at the airport might think I'm insane. I just flew into LA about 3 hours ago with a ton of luggage because I was staying for a while. Now, I'm leaving back to Miami with everything I came with.
I seriously don't know what has taken over and is causing me to do this. No wait, I do, the answer is simple. Love. I'm in love, I know that now. What more is there to say? After passing the guard who didn't want to let me in, until I started crying, I ran to the door. Tears were pouring down my face, the door opened and the same girl I saw with Geoffrey six months ago was standing before me. I wanted to punch her face in. "Is Geoffrey in?" I question, tears still falling. "He is, come in." Are you kidding me? She is shameless inviting me in his house. I went in anyways and she shouted for him to come down. "Geoffrey! You have company!" As soon as I saw him racing down the stairs, I practically fall on my knees and start crying some more.
"Nicole what are you doing here," he questions, a little too harsh, which made me want to cry more. "I don't know." I let out in between sobs. I was getting to the point where I just wished he had his arms around me. He gets on his knees also and says, "I know there's a reason. Why are you here?" "Why am I not here, Geo. I just want us to go back to the way we were before the fame, before life and my stupidity tried separating us. I just want you and only you. Everything I have right now isn't the same without you. I could care less about anything I've accomplished. I just can't keep pretending that I don't love you. Or that you don't mean everything to me." I saying, trying to stop each and every single tear from flowing down my face. I completely failed until he pulls me in for a hug and we fall to the floor. I'm laying on top of him with my head buried in his chest, when the girl walks back in.
My grip on his shirt tightens as we both get up from the floor. I was getting ready to mark my territory. "I'm sorry for interrupting. Hey cousin, I just came to let you know that I'm leaving home. It's pretty late. I had such a nice time hanging out today." Cousin? Are you joking. My grip loosens. "Melanie, take care okay? Thanks for coming." "Always, primo. Family has got to stick together. Oh and before I leave," Melanie said, looking at me, "This boy totally loves you. Ever since I moved from the Dominican Republic to Miami, he's mentioned you about a billion times. Nice to meet you in the awkwardest of situations." "Nice to meet you, too. Hopefully we can all get together another day and get to know each other better." "I'd like that. Now, I better leave to give you guys your privacy."
She leaves and the room was silent until he starts laughing, "I think I'm going to end up with a bruise. You kind of pinched me hard." "Did I? I'm sorry! I thought I had your shirt gripped." "No, that was my skin. Were you that jealous?" "Me? Jealous? Boy, please!" I said. Come on, let's face it, I was pretty jealous. He gets closer to me, "So, you're telling me, you weren't thinking she was my girl. I know you too well. Especially when we bumped into each other the last time." "Fine. If I admit I was a tiny bit jealous, will you stop?" "Maybe." he said, with that smirk I have grown to love.
"Where's your man," he questions, getting even closer tempting me to just kiss those lips I haven't touched in ages. "I'm looking at him." I say, grinning. "Good, that is what I wanted to hear. Gosh, I could never stay mad at you. I'm glad you're back because I'm never letting you leave me, especially for another chump." "Don't worry. I wasn't planning on leaving you, again. No other man compares to you." "We had to learn this lesson the hard way. No other woman compares to you either. Now, did you come with anything?" "Yes. I left the bags outside with Joel, who by the way didn't want to let me in." "Let's go get them so we can get some rest. Well, more like catch up."
He helped me bring my things inside and we were debating on whether or not we should put them away. Then we kind of forgot about that because we were distracted by each other, you know? Things were going great but I had to jump in the shower. In the middle of my shower, Geoffrey decided he needed a shower, too. "Don't look at me that way! You know what they say,
"save water, shower together."
At least you know I care about the planet!" he said, winking. "I'm not debating with that. I care about the planet also." Don't get me wrong, we love the planet but come on we all know where this is leading to. Pff, the planet my ass.
Especially, when it comes to Geoffrey and me. Things got a little too hot and heavy in the shower. If you know what I mean. Gosh, this man was going to kill me. What an epic night. Like all great things, it came to an end, Geo and I were laying there, his hands caressing my skin. His touch so gentle. " I don't plan on going anywhere, I love you. And whether you realize it or not, I'm going to be in your life forever. My plans for us are huge, baby. I know. I am very special to be your first true love. You are very special too, you're my last true love; I don't want anyone else but you. Ever since we both met, let's be honest, other relationships haven't worked out for us. What happens after? We end up right back in each others arms. I told you since the beginning you were forever and always going to be mine and only mine. There's no denying fate." Lord, his words gave me chills. I'm just happy things between us will only get stronger and better than before.
