Elijah:

Coming to my mate's rescue isn't something that I want to do on a daily basis; but I'll save her from anything as long as I get to be with her.

I came to see her to tell her that the school was attacked by mutant dog things. Sadly her friend, Allison didn't survive. Now I have no idea when I can tell her. Her uncle is taking care of it. But I'm done dealing with his mind games and his constant use of experimenting with her blood. Dani is my mate. It's time I treat her the way a gentleman should.

After Dani drank my blood, she knew what this meant. Quickly I draped a blanket over her. Nakedness doesn't faze me after trying to save her life but I know she would say something. Her eyes grew wide as she looked into mine. "Elijah, why didn't I know about the animal blood?" I brushed her hair out of her face. Gosh even sticky and sweating she looks sexy.

"I guess your parents figured you would have learned it in school. But I'm glad the reaction is over. You scared me," I spoke honestly. She leaned closer and kissed me. I kept my hand in her hair as we kissed. Her arms slid around my neck and my other hand stayed on her knee.

Someone stepped into the room interrupting my short time kissing my mate. I cursed at the guy standing there. Ugh Tyler is still here. He looked between us. "I feel bad that you had to start the bound so quickly. I wish there was another way Dani could have been cured from the poison. But that's how our world lives by blood," Tyler's presence seemed to bring Dani back to earth. She ran to her drawer puller out underwear and ran to her closet, clinging to the blanket I laid on her.

Rich and Dani's other pack member came up behind Tyler. The other guy was fuming mad. Rich was looking to the wet floor where we carried her in from a cold bath. He is worried about her. "I'm not sure what's worse; Niro trying to combine our packs because Dani is his mate or you starting the bound with her before she is an adult," the guy scolded me. Dani walked into the room with a beach dress on and flip flops. She smiled at everyone. Then she looked at me and sighed.

"You," she pointed a manicured finger at me. "Since we started the mate bound, we can't be a part from each other," she thought this through too much. "And I'm thirsty again," she finished with a smile by saying, "so you're going to live here until we can sort this out better." I gave the rude guy a big smile. He growled in protest. "There is 9 rooms in this house. Go pick one," she ordered me. My eyes went wide. This got the rude guy to laugh his (beep) off.

Dani pushed the guys aside as she lead the way to my new room. It was right next to hers. Surprisingly, Rich wanted to be on the furthest bedroom from the stairs. Jon's room is across from Dani's. Tyler comes over sometimes but not long enough to actually have his stuff here.

My room was plain. It had white walls a dress or with a mirror and a side table on the bed. There's a corner desk by the wall. The sun already bothers me. The bed sheets were pale blue and there was a rug to match it. My room has a small closet. But I didn't bring much. I didn't think I would be staying.

Dani walked over to my bed and pulled the sheets back. "Thirsty?" I asked as I took off my clean shirt. Dani shyly nodded. I used my vampire speed to bring me in front of her instantly. I lifted her chin. "Don't ever be afraid to tell me how you feel. Okay?" I spoke gently and sternly, afraid that if I step too far ahead of myself she will break the bond. She stood up on her tip toes and kissed me softly. She looked at me as she leaned away. She looked from me to the bed. I sat down.

"Just tell me when to stop, okay," she smiled at me. I grinned. She stood between my legs as she leaned to bit my neck. She licked my skin to prepare me for the bite. Once it came, I was completely in a daze. She drank small sips as a sign that she wasn't thirsty like last time but a different kind. She was slowly accepting me as her mate. I'll take this feeder role for now.

Once her hands began to roam my back, I knew she was going to far. "Dani, that's enough" I pleaded. She picked up my hands to rest on her (beep). I squeezed it just to hear her moan.

Then Dani stopped drinking and kissed me. I pulled her to sit on my lap. My hands stayed on her legs. I love feeling her warm skin against me cold one. She licked my lips and bit onto my lower lip I moaned as she drank some of my blood. Dani froze a moment later. Her eyes widened. "Niro is here." she gasped. I smirked at the door. Then I took her hand in mine and bit it, not for thirst but as a sign that she is bonded to me.

I watched as a tall alpha male stepped into the room with his beta on his left and a girl to his right. The beta and the girl has the same hair color while the alpha's hair color is the same as mine. The alpha had a black t-shirt and khaki pants. The girl wore a tank top and short shorts. The beta wore only jeans. Dani whimpered as the alpha snarled at us. I stood up. "You're an uneducated, fool," I spoke the obvious to the alpha. "Do you not notice that Dani isn't a full blooded werewolf? Dani is both a full blooded adult vampire and a werewolf. She cannot drink the blood of a dead animal; it's poisonous to her vampire half," I gestured to her blood stained mouth and chin. The other two werewolves looked scared of Dani. The alpha looked from her to me in a jealous rage.

"You're bonded now?" he observed us. Dani looks away. I stand protectively in front of her. The alpha glared at me. I smirked at him.

"She's my mate and by the look in your eye she is your mate too," I compromised. The alpha walked up to Dani and wiped her face with his shirt. He kissed her in a way that made me feel like I was invading their privacy.

"I'm Niro," the alpha introduced himself as he looked at me. He held Dani in a tight embrace.

"The name's Elijah," I put my hand out to shake his. Niro accepted my hand and politely shook it. Well, this is a start. At least we haven't tried to kill each other... yet.
