Chapter 10

Golden Towers-Manik's flat

Nandini pov

Manik: Say na nandini....Am I really looking like that....

He said in a husky voice, which gave me goosebumps.

I couldn't even reply to him any more as his gaze was so intense that I was lost in it. He slowly kept on decreasing the distance between us. With the every inch he covered, my breaths heaved. I could feel his breath on my face.

I closed my eyes feeling him so close to me.

He traced my face with his nose, giving featherly kisses all along. This made me tighten my hold on his arms. I lost my sanity completely when I felt his lips just above mine.

I slowly encircled my arms around his neck, gripping his hair in a fist. I could only hear his and mine heart beats which were racing around each other. I tilted my head so as to give him a proper access. His hands, which were on the either side, made their way towards my waist, gripping it tight and pulling me completely onto him.

Manik: I love you so much nandini...

He whispered just above my lips with so much of intensity that I shuddered.

Nandini: I love you too manik...

I whispered back but we were startled by the ring of my cellphone.

Manik: Shit!!

He murmured under his breath and leaned on my shoulder.

We both were breathing heavily because the intense moment we shared a while back. I slightly pushed him and moved out to attend the call.

As I came out I took a moment to relax myself. I pulled out my phone to see that call was from chachi.

Chachi: Hello nandu tu kaha hai...tu kab tak ayegi ghar....

She asked in her ever cheerful voice.

Nandini: ha chachi mein friend ke ghar mein hu!! mein half an hour mein ajaungi..

Chachi: jaldhi aja beta.... rishab bhi aaja yeh ga.. usse phele hume decoration bhi karna hai na...aur ha yaad se bags bhi lekar ana.

Chacha had taken rishab for an outting so that we could get time for decorating.

Nandini: Thike chachi I will bring it and ya will be there in half an hour.

Manik came out as I ended the call, wiping his face.

Manik: Kaun tha?

Nandini: Chachi...she called to ask me to come home soon.

I said fiddling with my bracelet. I wanted spend more time with him but had to go home too.

I guess he understood my gestures so he came back hugged to comfort me.

Manik: It's ok nandini we have all the time in the world.

I turned and hugged him really tight.

He pulled me out of the hug and held my face, gave a kiss on my forehead.

Manik: Chalo I will drop you off.
