As I entered the loading docks, I helped move crates into the back of our bus, which, due to the bureau's discrete nature, was disguised as a garbage truck. It wasn't the best to go for, but it's better than being wide out in the open. With the facility being believed to be a waste management facility, a garbage truck only seemed plausible to come out of there without being suspicious.

I followed not far behind Hellboy and Abe as we were getting ready to leave. I hoped this wouldn't take us long, but I had heard that we would only be at our location for about a few hours at least. I didn't seem to mind that at the very least, as I've been on missions for days or weeks, so a few hours seems like nothing.

I sat back, staring out of the one-way mirrored windows. Never to be seen by the public, unless of course you were Hellboy, I thought absentmindedly as we finally began to move, leaving HQ.

Hours passed before we finally reached our destination. Up ahead, I could see a large-scale building, and upon it read, "Machen Library". Lots of citizens have gathered, as well as SWAT, paramedics, news station reporters, and basically anything you can name. I chuckled at the thought that the garbage truck we're concealed in also arrived at the scene.

"Red, weren't you here already?" I turned to look at the large, bulky demon.

"Unfortunately," he snorted in response, looking out of the window to glance at everyone passing by, "Look at those ugly suckers, guys. One sheet of glass between them and us."

"Story of my life," Abe said fondly as he ran his hands along the breathing apparatus in his grip.

I shifted past Hellboy, grabbing a fairly-sized box. Carrying it back to where I sat, the box revealed my nine-millimeter pistol and set of throwing knives; just some of the weapons I used on missions classified as not too extreme. Behind me, I could hear the panel to the window close followed by a rough sigh.

"Outside, I could be outside," Hellboy opened up his own equipment box, where his gun, a twenty-two-millimeter revolver he likes to call the Good Samaritan, was kept. My eyes wandered in Abe's direction, who started to pull out his goggles, weapons, and who knows what else was in his box.

"You mean outside, with her?" he urged on as he stared up at his comrade, making me snicker. It was pretty easy to guess that Hellboy seemed to be escaping the bureau more frequently just so he could meet up with Liz. She was all that was on Red's mind, even if he wouldn't admit it.

Hellboy turned to glare defiantly at the amphibious man. "Don't get psychic with me, fella," he scoffed, clenching his stone right hand.

"Nothing psychic about it," chimed Abe, raising his goggles up to position them carefully over his large eyes, "You're easy."

Red groaned, "How am I ever gonna get a girl? I drive around in a garbage truck." I rolled my eyes in response.

"Liz left us, Red," Abe reminded, slowly lowering his goggles from his face, as the truck soon came to a stop, "Take the hint."

"We don't take hints."

I sighed, turning to face the pair, "Sorry to burst your guys' bubble, but do either of you know why we're even here?"

Hellboy shrugged blankly, and Abe tilted his head to think for a moment before explaining, "No one had mentioned any details. Just a enigmatic, valuable item from the library being stolen. Other than that, no information had been given."

Red's brow ticked, "Valuable? Everything in there is nothing but a bunch of fakes. I checked myself the last time I was here."

I nodded slowly, the large back door starting to open, lowering to the ground. Other agents helped carry the rest of our equipment inside, four figures glancing our way: Agent Quarry, Agent Moss, Clay, and Myers.

"Okay, guys, let's sync up our locators," Clay instructed. Instinctively, we pressed a small switch on our belts, activating an illuminating glow. As I looked up, I caught a glimpse of Hellboy lighting up a cigar like he usually does before most missions, striding confidently off of the ramp to meet with the others, with Abe and I not far behind.

Clay gently pressed onto his earpiece, "Seal the doors. Red, Blue, and Wolf are coming in."
