Rebecca's POV
"Hey, did you hear about the news on Schoology?" Asked Raul.
"What news?" Nayeli asked while opening her locker.
"There is going to be a new student transferring here, I forgot from which school though. Didn't you see the post?" I said in a questioning voice, while taking out my phone.
"No." Nayeli shakes her head.
~~Schoology~~
"Hello students, there will be a new transfer student. He is nice and I want you all to be kind and welcome him to our school. Thank you."
-Ms. Eclipse
"Wow, I hope he's cute." Nayeli hands me my English book.
"Not cuter than me right???" Raul sadly pouts.
"No one is cuter than you." Nayeli blushes.
"Awwww~" A group of students pass by.
"Go away!" I clapped my hands.
~~~Bell Rings~~~
"See you guys later!" I ran off to my English class. Ugh, I hate English sooo much!!!
~~~In class~~~
"Attention students.......can I please have your attention. We have a new student joining us today." Mr. Schroeder shouts. I look over and see a cute boy standing at the doorway.
"Please...introduce yourself?" Mr. Schroeder says.
"Hi my name is Anthony, nice to meet you all." Said the student. I felt something weird inside me....could it be? I caught feelings for the new kid already? I felt my face get warm and my heart start to race.
"Anthony, why don't you sit next to....... Rebecca, Rebecca please raise your hand." Mr. Schroeder looks over to me. I raised my hand and smiled. Anthony comes over and puts his backpack behind the chair next to me and sat down.
"H-Hi I'm R-Rebecca, nice to m-meet you." I studdered.
"Hi Rebecca, I'm Anthony, nice to meet you too...........I like your eyes they compliment your smile." He said.
"Th-Thank you." I said smiling. I felt myself red like a tomato. Mr. Schroeder looked over at us and saw that we were talking. For that, he sent us to detention.
"REBECCA, ANTHONY, DETENTION!!!" He yelled. We both groaned.
"Rebecca before you go, do you have your homework?" He asked me.
"Shit, I totally forgot we had homework!" I thought.
"I'm sorry, but I forgot it, I was busy yesterday. I promise to bring it tomorrow." I told him.
"Ok, but it will be considered as late credit." He says as I open the door.
"Ok." I walk out with Anthony following me.
