Chapter 3

Ricky's POV

"H-Hey Rebecca." I said walking by her.
"Oh, Hey Ricky!" She said back.
"I like your hair." I told her.
"Ummm..... Thanks? I guess." She made a face.
"Oh, Hi Ricky." Nayeli waved.
"Nayeli, this is an A and B conversation now you can C you're way out of it." I snapped at her.
"Ok, ok jezz." She said backing away.
"Hahaha." Raul laughed. Nayeli grabbed him and started walking with him to their math class. "What's your next class?" I asked Rebecca.
"Health. You?" She replied.
"Same, wanna walk together?" I blushed a little.
"Sure." She smiled.

Rebecca's POV

When me and Ricky we're walking, I look over at him and see some blush on him..... Does he like me? Well, I'm sorry but I don't like him, he is like a brother to me. We met in preschool, we've been friends ever since. If I did liked him, I would have told him already, but I don't. Sorry Ricky.

Anthony's POV

I wake up and look over at the time.
"OH NO!!!" I yelled as ran to my sister's room. It was 7:55am.
"HANNAH, WAKE UP WE'RE LATE!!!" I kept shaking her.
"Ugh, Anthony stop." She groaned.
"Ok, hurry!" I yelled.
I went to get dressed, combed my hair, and brush my teeth. Once I was ready, I went downstairs and waited for Hannah. It took her 20 minutes to get ready. Now I'm really late. I pushed her out the door and ran to school.
"Your late." Said my Science teacher.
"I'm sorry, I slept in." I sat down in the only available seat, next to a girl named Jessica.
"Hi." She whispered.
"Hey." I whispered back.
"I like your shirt." She giggled. I looked down and realized I put on one of Hannah's Justin Bieber shirts. I guess our shirts got mixed up. I zipped up my sweater, hoping no one else saw.

*RING RING*

I collected my stuff and walked out. I saw Rebecca talking to another guy. To me he seems kinda short.
"Rebecca!" I waved.
I guess she didn't hear me since she didn't look or respond. Who is that guy? And why is he with her? I felt jealous.

Raul's POV

"Have you ever noticed that, when you smile, you look like a 30 year old man trying to frown." Nayeli said.
"Really....?" My voice cracked a little.
"Nah...... I'm just messing with you." She laughed.
"Haha, so funny." I angrily said. She lightly punches me.
"Hey." Anthony sounded a little bit mad.
"You ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." He said. He didn't look that fine to me.
"Anthony!!" I heard a girl yell. I assume it was Rebecca, but it was Jessica.
"Oh, hey Jessica." Anthony says.
"Hey...... You forgot your book." She handed the book to him. Anthony grabs the book.
"Bye Anthony, cya later." She ran off to catch up with her cousin, Alex and her friends, Daniel, Amy, and Mia.
"Cya guys at lunch." I waved to Anthony and Nayeli.
"Bye." They said. I decided to ditch class with Kamarian and meet at the cafeteria.
"Yo, what's up Raul." He gave me a fist bump. "Same old, same old." I said.
"Come on, their waiting for us." He says.
"Their?" I made a confused face. When we got to the cafeteria, I saw my friends, Jaylen, Edwin, Ricky, Joe, Alex, and Diego.
"Hey." They said.
I walked over and waved.
"Hey guys, instead of prom, let's go to the park and play soccer." Joe suggested.
"I ca-" I was cut off by all of them talking.
"So it's decided, we will all meet up next Friday." Edwin said. They all cheered. I heard someone coming........ It was....Nayeli? I quickly hid.
"Hey, have y'all seen Raul, he has to be in leadership." She says. No one said anything.
"Well, if you do tell him I'm going to kill him, if he doesn't get his ass over here." She angrily left. I feel terrible, how can I do this to her.
"Yo dude......you ok?" Jaylen asked.
"Ya, ya, I'm ok." I answered weakly.
"If you want, you can go, I'll text you later." Ricky said. I decided to go to leadership and when I got there, "Where were you?" Nayeli angrily said.
"I'm sorry, I was...... " I tried to thing of something to say.
"I was in the washroom." I told her.
"TMI." She went from angry to disgusted. When class was over, we met up with Rebecca and Anthony.

Rebecca's POV

"Hey guys." I waved to Raul and Nayeli.
"Hi." Nayeli said. Raul just waved.
"Rebecca, can I asked you a question?" Anthony told me.
"Sure." I said. He pulled me to the side, " Who was that boy, you were talking to earlier?" He asked.
"Oh, that was Ricky he's my childhood friend." I told him.
"Oh ok." He gave me a thumbs up. I see Ricky walking towards us, waving.
"Hey Rebecca." He stood to close, he was nearly in my face.
"Hi." I uncomfortably said and backing away.
"I've wanted to ask you something, but I didn't have the guts to do it...... Now I do." He slightly blush.
"Ok...." I waited.
"Will.... Will you to prom with me?" He asked me.
"Sorry Ricky, but I already have a date." I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Who?" He asked.
"Me." Anthony stepped up. Ricky looked jealous and a little bit angry. #Justalittlebit
I looked at Anthony and he seem a bit jealous too. I backed away and walked over to Nayeli.... I was in shock...... Nayeli was holding Raul's hand, and he wasn't punching her like he always does.
"Are you guys really holding hands or am I just dreaming?" I was very surprised.
"Ya, we realized that we both liked each other and we decided to start dating." Nayeli blushed. I was speechless, I never thought it could happen, but it did.
"Congrats, I guess." I said still in shock. I look over where I left Anthony and Ricky, I noticed that there were a crowd of students. I walk over to see what was going on and find out that they are fighting.
"WHAT'S GOING ON!!!???" I shouted. They both stopped and looked at me.
"You don't deserve him." Ricky squinted at him. I blushed, realizing what he just said. A-Anthony likes me? I was speechless. Anthony walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder.
"Look, I was planning to tell you this at prom, but I think it's time that you should know." He grabbed both of my hands. I was still speechless and blushing.
"I like you...... Since the first day I came here, I have felt feelings for you." Ricky comes up to me and says," I like you more.....when we met in preschool, I've always had a crush on you ever since............beat that Anthony." Anthony said nothing.
"Well, I guess I win....... Rebecca is mine." Ricky tried to put his arm around me but I moved away.
"Rebecca.......This is the part where you start dating me." He whispered.
"Sorry Ricky,but......" I face Anthony.
"I like Anthony." I blushed harder.
"WHAT?!?!?" Ricky angrily said..... But instead of doing something he walked over. Anthony blushed.
"I know. I overheard you and Nayeli talking, when you were chasing her." He chuckled a little.
"Oh, hehe, really?" I started getting nervous. Nayeli comes and scares away the crowd of students with Joey's weird chicken dance (Search it up, if you want😂) and yelled, " GET OUTTA HERE!!" Once the crowed of students left, " I'll leave you two alone." Nayeli left to go with Raul. Me and Anthony just stood their. Neither of us said anything until, " So, about taco Tuesday....are you going to ask your parents?" I broke the silence.
"Uh, ya I'll ask them." He replied. He pulls me toward him and puts his arm around me. I blush.
"Wha-what are you doing?" I studdered.
"Nothing." He smirked.
