Chapter 20

*After school*
Nayeli's POV

I have to tell Rebecca the news. As I started walking down the stairs and opened the school door, I saw Rebecca, Tiffany, Jessica, and Angelica.
"Hey guys!" I waved.
They waved back.
"I'm excited!" Tiffany said.
"Me too!" Angelica said. "I'm ready to eat!" I laughed. Rebecca said something, but I didn't hear. As we walked to the front of the school, Rebecca said,
"Wait my mom she is coming to pick up my backpack."
"Where is she?" Angelica asked.
"She was in the parking lot, but I told her to come to the front." She showed her, her phone.
"We could've gone to the parking lot then back over here!" Tiffany said.
"I told you guys, but you didn't listen!" Rebecca yelled.
Then a grey car came.
"Rebecca is that your mom?" I asked.
"Ya, we got a new car." She said.
She opens the car door and takes off her backpack.
"Be careful ok, be aware." Her mom said.
"I know!" She handed her backpack.
"Wait!" She took off her necklace that we were given to remind us of our school e-mails, but she replaced it with pictures of Hoseok.
"Take care of J-Hope for me!" She said giving the necklace to her mom.
She just rolls her eyes.
"What if your mom just throws it out the window." We both laughed.
"Ok bye, be careful!" Her mom said yet again.
"Ok, I know!" Rebecca said. We started walking to Frontiers to eat. When we got there we met up with Angelica's parents. "What do you guys want to drink?" Angelica's mom asked.
"I'll have a coke." Angelica said.
"Me too." Tiffany said.
"I want sprite." Rebecca said.
"Me too." Me and Jessica said.
"Ok. I'll be right back." Angelica's mom said.
"I like hamburger
AND SPRITE!" Me and Rebecca yelled.
"Jesús ayuda estas niñas!" Angelica said. We all laughed. When we calmed, I decided to tell the girls the news.
"Hey guys, guess what!" I said.
"What?" They said as the food got to our table.
"I have a boyfriend." I took a bite of a chillie cheese fry.
"Who?" Rebecca started to drink her sprite.
"Jaylen." I took another bite of the fry. Rebecca spit out sprite and started coughing. Angelica and Tiffany stayed silent, and Jessica got napkins.
"WHAT!" Rebecca yelled after getting all her coughs out, which also got the whole restaurants attention.
I just look around to see everyone staring.
"I'm sorry everyone! Nothing going on here, go back to your meals. Thank you!" Angelica announced. The people awkwardly turn around to their food and carried on their conversations they were having.
"You started dating Jaylen!!" Rebecca whispered yelled.
"Yes." I said casually.
"Like, our Jaylen?" Angelica asked.
"Yes."
"Little 8th grade Jaylen?" Tiffany asked.
"YES!" I banged the table.
Jessica laughed.
"I knew this already." She calmed down.

Jaylen's POV

When school ended I went to go find Raul. When I looked everywhere in the campus, I found him at his locker putting his books that he didn't need away.
"Hey Raul." I waved at him.
"Oh hey." He waved back.
"Are you going to tell me whatever you wanted to tell me earlier?" He asked.
"Yup." I smiled.
"Ok what is it." He closed his locker.
"Ok, so uh..." I place my hand on the back of my neck.
"I have a girlfriend." I smiled.
"Cool, do I know her?" Raul asked.
"Uh, ya." I fiddled with my fingers.
"Who is she?" He asked. "Nayeli." I blushed.
