Chapter 30

Angelica's POV

Ever since I started dating Bryan, I noticed that Jessica, Nayeli, Rebecca, and I drifted apart. I know that they don't like Bryan, but he's like the best boyfriend I ever had. I don't know what to do. I know he does bad stuff to them, but I just stand there and do nothing. Yes, I'll try to tell him to stop, but I don't if he'll listen. Should I break up with him and be sad the rest of my life or just continue this relationship? I can't break up with him, I love him too much.

"Angelica, I think you should break up with him. He isn't right for you." Rebecca says. We we're on our way to the computer lab to type some essays we made up.

"I can't, I love him too much. If I do, I'll just be sad the rest of my life." I say.

She sighs,
"Look...if you wanna date, then go ahead. But you need a guy that treats you right and cares for you. Someone who cares for your grades. Someone to help you succeed. Does Bryan care about your grades?" She crosses her arms.

"Yes." I say.

"How?"

"Well I try to do my work, but he keeps getting in the way."

"So, he doesn't? That's the point he doesn't care about how you do. Angelica he's telling you to do stuff, that you don't want to do, but you still do it. Do you know how that makes me feel!?"

"Ho-"

"It makes me feel worried about you, you don't deserve to get forced into that stuff. Like, why would you let him,it seems you don't want this to happen. You need to control him. Tell him to stop hurting people. People that are your friends." Rebecca's face his bright red.

I don't say anything. I didn't know what to say. What can I say? I had to think of this. This is to much to take in. I didn't want to deal with this anymore.

"Just...just fuck off." I coldly reply.

"Excuse me?" She says.

"Fuck off."

"You'll regret this Angelica!! We all know you'll regret this!!" She yells.

"NO I WON'T CAUSE I LOVE HIM!" I shout back.

"Oh my god...ANGELICA, DON'T YOU SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE!! BRYAN IS A BAD GUY!!" She yells. I push her back with anger and lands on Jessica, who was turning the hall corner with Nayeli.

"Woah! You ok." Jessica says.

"Ya...I'm ok." Rebecca voices cracks. Anger in her eyes.

"Angelica...why..." Nayeli shakes her head.

"Just leave me alone." I say. I start to walk away.

"REBECCA NO!" I hear Jessica yell.

I don't dare turn around, but I did feel a hard punch.
