Chapter 16

Nayeli's POV

I wake up and check the clock.
4:42am
I go to the bathroom and come back to lay down. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I put on my earbuds and played my BTS play list.

As I started to get sleepy, I checked the clock again.
4:45am
It's been only 3 min?!
As I get comfortable at last, I fell asleep.
{Time skip to later}
I wake up and I hear a small sound of music from the distance, but it's also not that far. I look at the time.
9:38am
I see my wire from my earbuds and remember that I was listening to my playlist of BTS and figured out that, that's the music that was playing, except all the songs were over and now ATEEZ was playing. I was thinking of going back to sleep again, since it was early, but instead I went to get a small bowl of cereal. Once I finished my bowl, I put it in the sink and go back to my room. I go on my phone and jump through different apps. Nothing was really happening so I texted Rebecca. She didn't respond. I tried to text her again, but she still doesn't respond. She is probably sleeping still.

Anthony's POV

It's about 9:38-9:40am and I check what the hell woke me up. I realized that it was my phone. It vibrated once, then twice. I checked my phone and the bright light made me squint my eyes shut and rub them. Once I got use to the bright light hitting my eyes, I see that Nayeli texted?

😄Nayeli😄: Are you awake?
Me: because of you...
😄Nayeli😄: sorry...
Me: it's ok, anyways why did you text me this early? 😄Nayeli😄: First, it's not that early...second, I'm bored.
Me: Then text Rebecca
😄Nayeli😄: She is asleep 😑
I wish I was too...
Me: oh
😄Nayeli😄: yup
Me: Text Raul then
😄Nayeli😄: Eh...ok, now...go back to sleep you lazy human
Me: thanks...

As I get comfortable in my bed I start drifting off to sleep.

Raul's POV

I was already coming out of the shower and drying off when I got a text. I searched for my phone underneath my clothes and see Nayeli texted.

😊Nayeli😊: Are you awake?
Me: ya, just got out the shower.
😊Nayeli😊: oh cool, finally someone wide awake at this time 😄
Me: let me guess, Rebecca and Anthony are asleep...
😊Nayeli😊: Rebecca yes, Anthony probably went back to sleep since I woke him up.
Me: Ah, I see, so why did you text?
😊Nayeli 😊: just bored
Me: oof, oh uh hold up I gotta dress
😊Nayeli😊: oh, uh, ok

As I start to put on my clothes I take my stuff to my room and comb my hair.

Me: ok I'm back
😊Nayeli😊: ok

*later*

Rebecca's POV

"REBECCA WAKE UP!!!" I heard my mom yell.
I slowly open my eyes and immediately my eyes widen as I jumped out of bed.

3:30pm

"WHAT THE HELL!!!" I yelled.
"Get dress so we can leave!" My dad said.
I quickly dressed, brushed my teeth, and comb my hair.
"Ok let's go!" I said.
We got in the car and headed to church. We were in a hurry, that I didn't get to check my phone for message nor did I bring it.

Nayeli's POV

I'ma try to text Rebecca again.

Me: Hello UwU
......

Me: Are you seriously still asleep!

......

Me:oof

Maybe she did wake up, but she's busy? Or is she actually still asleep? Wait, she's my neighbor, I'ma go check. I walked over to her house, but I saw that her car wasn't there, maybe she did wake up. I knock on her door still, since she sometimes stays home and her parents are out shopping or something.
No one answered. I have now got my answer and went back to my house.
