Chapter 4

"I love you." Nayeli said.
"I love you more." Raul said back. Rebecca and Anthony both rolled their eyes.
"I love you with all my heart!!!" He yelled.
"I LOVE YOU WITH A BURNING PASSION!!!" She yelled.
"Ugh!!" He said not having a comeback.
"HA!" She yelled.
"So ya prom,where are we going to meet up?" Rebecca asked.
"Umm.... At the park?" Anthony suggested.
"Actually, about tha-" Raul was cut of. Again 😑.
"Ya, sounds great, the park it is..... I gotta catch up with Lesly and Eveny..... Bye." Nayeli ran off.

Anthony's POV

Rebecca knows that I like her. If only Ricky didn't interfere then me telling her I like her would be more romantic.
"Anthony and Ricky, to the principal's office." The P.A system announced. Ugh, it's been a day since the fight.
"Anthony....I'm sorry but, you can no longer participate in school activities, such as prom. As well for you Ricky." Ms. Eclipse said.
"WHAT.....but I already have a date!!" I yelled.
"Well, too bad." She stapled some papers. I felt like crying.......what am I going to tell Rebecca.
"So..... Why were you two boys fight?" She asked us.
"Anthony here stole my girl." Ricky folded his arms and squinted.
"Not true, she didn't even like you anyways." I told him.
"That's enough boys, there is no reason to fight over a girl." Ms. Eclipse said. No one said anything, we all stayed silent.
"Ok, boys go to class." She dismissed us. We went to our class, but on the way, I was think of what I was going to say to Rebecca. When I got to class, I sat next to Rebecca. As always, I can tell she was tired and wanted to go to sleep.

*RING RING*
Rebecca's POV

"Why did you go to the office, was it about the fight?" I asked Anthony. "Ya, and ummm..." He put his arm around me. "What?" I was worried.
"I can't go to prom." He looked away, like he didn't want me to see him cry.
"What.....why?" I asked him.
"Because of the fight...." He answered.
"Well, what am I suppose to do, go with someone else or don't go at all?" I felt like crying. He hugs me and I hug him back. Little did we know Raul and Nayeli were standing there. Watching us. When we broke the hug I said,"How long were you guys standing?"
"Long enough." Raul said in disgust. Nayeli took a good look at me and Anthony, she noticed that we were sad.
"What's wrong guys, why so down?" She asked. We stayed quite and I looked at Anthony. He looks at me. I feel a tear go down my cheek and I see one on his cheek too. We walk away from each other. I sit with Jessica, Eveny, and Lesly. Anthony sits with Diego, Edwin, and Jaylen. Nayeli comes to me and Raul goes with Anthony.
"Come on Rebecca, what's wrong?" Nayeli asked once more.

Raul's POV

NOOO, I'm separated from Nayeli to help Anthony with his problem.
"What's wrong?" I asked sounding sympathetic.
"I-I can't go to prom." He said punching the table. I see him take a glance at Ricky. His face got red, his veins popping out, his eyes were like staring at the devil himself. I've never seen him this mad.
"Don't tell Nayeli, but I might not go to prom either. I'm hanging with my friends at the park. Right guys?" I looked at Diego, Edwin, and Jaylen.
"Yup." They said.

"Why......why abandoned your girlfriend? She loves you dude.You have to go. You'll break her heart." Anthony looked at me.

*Meanwhile*
Nayeli's POV

"Why are you sad Bebe?" I asked.(If y'all don't know that's my nickname, so ya😂)
"Ya Rebecca, tell us." Lesly said.
"A-A-Ant-t-thony I-i-isn't go-going to p-p-prom!!!" She cries out. It's so sad to see my best friend cry. Tears dripping down her face as her mouth quivers in sadness. She whipes her tears with her sleeve. Lesly,Jessica,and Eveny comfort her while I get up and walk over to Ricky. I slap him as hard as I can across his face.
"HEY,WHY THE FUCK DID YOU SLAP ME FOR?!?!" He yells.
"You ruined her life..... If you love her leave her alone!!!" I yelled. He got up and shoved me.
"Stay out of it bitch!" He yells. That's when I snapped. I punch him in the stomach. I see students taking videos and pictures. I hear others chatting. I lean in and whisper in his ear, " You break her heart, you deal with me." I walk back to Rebecca. She was still kinda crying. I sit down and cross my arms. Next thing you know, I'm being dragged out of school by the school's security guards.
