Chapter 23

~The next morning~

Rebecca's POV

I started walking up the stairs alone, since I came a little late to school."Man, why can't they make elevators for students?!" I thought. I started to get tired and it was barley the first set of stairs. As I struggled walking up the stairs, I heard doors opening and closing. Some students came out from the second floor hallways and started walking up as well. I finally made to the fourth floor and started breathing heavily. I opened the doors to the hallway and walked to my class. Not that much people were in the class, so I decided to head to another classroom, and I knew which one. 

Tiffany's POV

I was in another classroom talking with some friends about stuff we did the day before. "Hey BecBec." My friend, Harley goes to hug Rebecca."Hi." They hug. She then walks over to us."I'm tired." Rebecca sits next to me breathing hard. "I can see that." I say."Oh here." She reaches into her backpack and pulls out a white envelope. "What's this?" I take it from her. "Open it." She smiles. I struggle to open it, but after about 1 minute I got it to open. I pulled out a card that said "You're invited". I open the card and it showed information of Rebecca's birthday party. "Oh, and my mom wants your parents' numbers, if you're going to sleep over." She added."Bitch, I GOT'CHU." I smiled and put the envelope in my  backpack. She reaches in her backpack, pulls out another envelope, and hands it to Harley.

Rebecca's POV

"UGH!! I don't wanna go to class!!!" Tiffany complained. "Too bad!" I pulled her. We said bye to our period 3 teacher and that we'll see him later. We walked into our period 1 class which was across the hall and sat down. Since we have breakfast in the classroom, we still had time to talk about stuff. "Hey Jessica." I wave. "Hi." She takes her seat behind me. "Is Nayeli coming today?" I ask. "Uh ya, she is." "Ok." We started talking about my birthday party when Nayeli walked in. 

{A/N: Even though it hurts me so much to remember this moment, I'm about to write what happened between me, Nayeli, and Jessica.}

"Hi Nayeli." I smile. "Hi." She sits down. "Hey, Nayeli." Jessica says. They both start to talk. I take out my stuff to get ready for class. Turns out Nayeli and Jessica are still talking to each other. I try to join in, but I don't know what to say. I felt left out. Yes, I've felt left out before, but I was being over dramatic those times. But this time, I wasn't. I turned back around and put my head down. 

Angelica's POV

I walk in class and sat down. I started talking to Ricky. "Hey Angelica, look I'm thick." He pulled down his pants a little to show some white tights. "Wow, Ricky, you're super thick." We laugh. I look over at Rebecca and see her with her head down. This was unlike her. So, I tried to get her attention, "Rebecca!" I half shouted. She looked up with a tired but sad face. Somethings wrong with her. "Ricky's thick." I mouth out. She didn't understand. This girl, she doesn't understand anything when I mouth out words. I try again, and this time she understood. Ricky stood up and pulled his pants down a little. She smiled and nodded, but her frown returned and she put her head down again. I then noticed Jessica and Nayeli weren't talking to her. 

Rebecca's POV

To get me distracted, I called Tiffany. "Tiffaannyyyy~~." I say. "What!" She turns around. "Hi." I smile. "Hi." She says then turns back around. My smile goes away. I had no one to talk to. I usually talked to Nayeli and Jessica in the morning. "Hey Rebecca." My friend Amaris says sitting down. "Hey." I smile. "How are you today?" She asks. "I'm tired, but I'm good." I say. "That's good." She smiles, then turns to her friend Angelina. Great... My teacher then starts up CNN 10. I take my pencil out to take notes. "They didn't even ask if I'm ok..." I thought.
