Part 15 - Changes

Your POV:

You woke up. Calibri was gone so you sat up. You had a blanket on, probably from Calibri. You grabbed your phone and called him. "Hello?" He said once he picked up. "Hi Cal! Where did you go? Thank you for the blanket, by the way." "Oh! No problem. I just went back to my house to tell my parents the changes." Calibri replied. "Oh okay. Well, I'm going to start making the house bigger and if you could get me some more rope to tie sticks with that would be SUPER helpful!" You told him.

"Sure! I'll be back soon! Love you~." Calibri said. "Love you too~. I'll see you when you get here, bye!" You hung up the phone and stood up. 'I still have a lot of time before work. Expanding should be fun!' You exited the house and went into the forest near it. You gathered as many sticks as your arms could carry and you went back to your house. You started penetrating sticks into the snow-covered ground. After about 20 minutes, Calibri arrived. He was holding a very strong appearing rope. He was smiling too. "Hi Cal!" You greeted, sweat dripping from your face due to how hard you were working.

"Hi Y/N! I'll go get more sticks." Calibri said, noticing your pile of sticks become smaller and smaller. You nodded and Calibri went into the forest. He soon came back and he copied what you were doing. "This is actually a lot more fun than I thought!" Calibri stated and shoved a stick into the ground. "I'm just curious if this is legal. Do you know if it is?" You questioned. "I think it is. Probably." Calibri replied. "We should make secret pathways throughout the 'house' or 'base'. That would be pretty cool." You told him. You kept getting ideas as you worked.

Lee's POV:

Sans told me he wanted to show me something, so I've been following him for the last 27 minutes. "DON'T WORRY HUMAN-LEE! WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" Sans assured. I nodded to him and continued walking. Soon, we got to a waterfall with a bunch of blue-glowing flowers everywhere. "What are those flowers?" I asked him.

"THOSE ARE ECHO FLOWERS. IF YOU SAY SOMETHING TO THEM AND TAP THEM AFTERWARDS, THEY'LL REPEAT WHAT YOU SAID." Sans thoroughly explained. After a few minutes of walking around I talked. "T-thanks for bringing me here... I guess..." I sputtered. "NO PROBLEM!" Sans replied cheerfully. He sat on the ground so I sat on the ground next to him. After a short while of peaceful silence, I realized that I was getting carried away.

I jumped up and quickly tackled Sans. "W-WHAT?" Sans asked and I pulled a knife out of my jean-shorts. I pointed it at him and my hands shook violently. Sans stared at me in shock and he looked very frightened.

"I came to the Underground for a reason... and here I am... ruining my chances of EVER being accepted as a living being on the surface! I came down here to prove that I'm not a wimp! I'm not a wimp... I'm not a..." I cut myself off and stabbed my knife into the ground next to Sans's face. Tears poured from my eyelids and I released Sans, putting my hands to cover my face. "I-I... I can't do this... I guess I really am just a wimp... a baby..." I tried to wipe my tears away but I just couldn't stop crying. After about a minute of crying, I felt arms wrap around me.

Sans was hugging me, even after I nearly attempted to murder him. I hugged back and sobbed all of my pain and suffering out. Sans calmly patted my back. "IT'S OKAY... EVEN IF YOU AREN'T ACCEPTED UP THERE, ME AND EVERYONE ELSE DOWN HERE ACCEPTS YOU. AND IF YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG, I'LL HELP YOU FIX IT!" Sans encouraged, rubbing my back gently. 'Maybe I should take this chance... NO! YOU CAN'T THROW THE PLAN AWAY! WHAT ABOUT- about... the fact that nobody on the surface EVER accepted me like monsters have. I should change, for the better of myself and everyone around me.'

"Thank you Sans. And... I did do something wrong. I want to fix it as quickly as I can!" I told him and smiled, pulling away from the hug. "YOU MEAN, WE, WANT TO FIX IT AS QUICKLY AS WE CAN." Sans told me, making me giggle at his response. After a little bit of joking around, I looked at him and he looked at me. We got closer and closer to eachother until...

... our foreheads hit eachother. We both blushed and laughed it off. We stood up and I tapped his shoulder. "Tag~." I said and ran off, giggling and smiling.

Your POV:

You heard your phone alarm beeping as loud as it allowed. You groaned and turned it off. "What's the alarm for?" Calibri asked. "I got a job... and I have to go now." You grumbled and put one last stick into the ground. Calibri hugged you slightly and kissed your forehead. "I'll continue working on the base until it looks good and stable. After that... I guess I should find myself a job too. I could use some more money to take you places with~." Calibri said. You smiled and pecked his forehead. Save the romantic vibes for after my shift Romeo~." You cooed and blushed a tint.

"Well, have fun at work Y/N. Your love will be waiting at home for you~." Calibri told you and posed dramatically. You laughed and went into the base. The walls were still small inside, mostly because you and Calibri hadn't finished the outside yet. So, you left the inside layer until it was finished. You changed into your Muffet's uniform that you had gotten recently and you took a deep breath in. 'It'll be okay. It's my first day of work.' You thought to yourself. You headed out of the base and to your first job, excited and a bit nervous. Soon, you saw it. Muffet's.

'Mother would be so proud...' You thought to yourself and smiled brighter than before. You entered to see Muffet at the counter. "Welcome back! Are you ready to start?" Muffet asked kindly. You nodded and Muffet brought you behind the counter. After showing you ALL of the basics, Muffet left the shop and you awaited your first costumer. After about five minutes, Papyrus walked in. "Y/N...?" He said in a questionable tone. You chuckled. "Wow. Seems like you're my first costumer Pap-Bro-Rus. What'll you have?" You asked as Papyrus walked up to the counter. He sat on a bar stool the store had gotten a while ago.

"Meh, just a donut and bottle of honey." Papyrus ordered. You nodded and handed him a bottle of honey. "Just a regular donut or...?" You asked as Papyrus took a small drink from the honey bottle. He simply nodded and you grabbed a donut bag. You put a regukar donut in the bag and set it on the counter in front of him. He then grabbed the donut and stood up. "Just put it on my tab." He said before teleporting away. You put it on his tab and waited for your next costumers. 'This is actually pretty nice and calmi-' Before you could finish that thought, a bunch of monsters poured into the shop. 'Well f××k.'
