"So Eva, what do you have in your first period." Nicole questioned.

"Loads and loads of blood and a lot of pain." I raised both of my eyebrows at her pathetic answer and facepalmed myself. Just five minutes were left until the school began and here Eva was standing making a fool out of herself. The corridors were jam packed with students loitering here and there. We were standing at the glass door entrance and talking away, basically Eva and Nicole and I was acting as a third wheel in their friendship. I looked around and saw some students sniggering away, trying to control their laugh. Ugh why does she have to be so loud so that the whole world could hear her speak.

Eva had woken me up from my deep slumber as soon as we had reached school and my best friend and my new friend had tagged along while I followed behind them none of them bothering you even wait for me. It was surprising that how quickly they had clicked with each other.

Although they were having such a good bonding time I was not in a least bit jealous of their friendship because I was in mood to talk to anybody.

Since the time I have known Nicole there is one flaw which I despise about her. And that is keeps on holding her grudges. She has been ignoring me since that argument and is in no mood to forgive me any time soon.

"She means what class do you have in your first lesson." I interuped their conversation.

"Ohh that, well" - she took her schedule out from her bag - "I have maths for my first period. This sounds so funny I have maths for my first period and not blood." She giggled like a little school girl at her statement while both Nicole and me have her a bored look.

Oh great here we go again. Now she'll start her rambling all over again about her first 'period'. "That's good" - I said before she could start that topic all over again and waste more of my time. I was too miserable to crack any jokes or bear any nonsense. - "Nic and I have English so we will proceed to our classes and you go to yours before all of us get late."

"But first tell me where is room 369, my 'maths period' takes place there"

"It's straight down the corridor, the first classroom to the left of the corner."

The loud noise of the bell indicated the beginning of school.
"Thanks, and bye amigos. See you later." And with that all three of us set off in different directions. Nic and I going in the opposite direction to that of Eva. Slowly and gradually the busy corridors were getting deserted as the students made their way to their own classes.

We reached just in time before the teacher entered the classroom.

We went and sat at our usual spots in the second last row as the teacher Mrs Lee, started handing out the worksheets of our last surprise test. And the result was as expected, I hadn't scored very well, considering that it was a surprise test and above all Shakespeare. I don't understand why are we still studying his plays. I mean it's not that I hate his plays or something but it's just that it's hard to mug up the plays. Nic had scored better than me and I am proud of her. Her face beamed with joy when she showed me her paper and I gave her a thumbs up getting involved in her moment of pride.

The rest of the thirty five minutes were pretty boring. The teacher ranting about how we don't concentrate in class and mess up our tests.

Every five minutes felt like torture as if someone had put a non stop chatter box in front of us. The torture was so bad that even sleep dreaded to take over my body.

But thankfully the class ended and I stretched my hands and legs as I walked out of the class. My eyes were numb due to listening to the constant rant of Mrs Lee and I was happy to get out of the class. The other students also had the same bored expression as everybody made their way to their next class.
