Convention

Third Person POV:
Colin was off to a con this weekend in New Jersey. He flew from LA to NJ by himself. Jen had important meetings so she wasn't with him. Colin had a hickey on his neck still and it was still very noticeable. As he arrived he met up with Rose.
"Hey Dad!" she said jokingly as she waved at him. Colin laughed at waved back.
"So how are you?" he asked.
"I'm good, you?" she replied.
"Splendid." he said.
They walked to the hotel together and got their room cars. Both their rooms were next to each other's. Rose had to rush to the meet and greet but Colin didn't so he stayed in his room.

He was bored. For so long he'd been with Jennifer all day long. Their first night apart as a couple. He decided to facetime her as he couldn't stay away much longer without seeing her face and hearing her voice.
"Hey beautiful." he said looking at her through the screen of his phone. She smiled at him.
"Hi. How is everything at the con?" she asked.
"Fine. I just got into my hotel room. It's got a single bed in it. Haven't been in one of those for a while." he uttered.
Jen giggled.
"Did you meet Rose?"
"Briefly. She had to rush to the meet and greets."
"Oh. Tell her I said hi."
"Sure."
The connection was bad so it started to reconnect by shortly came back on.
"Did you ask Rose to cover the hickey I gave you?"
"She didn't notice it. I don't know how it's a big one." he laughed.
"Well tomorrow you need to ask her, if fans see that on your neck god knows what they'll say."
He thought to himself about how it could be covered.

5 hours later
Rose came back from the meet and greets and the karaoke, she knocked on Colin's door.
"Hiiii!!" she emphasised.
Colin let her in.
"So how was it?" he asked her.
"Great fun me and Jared make an excellent duo. Honestly someone should sign us a record deal." she exclaimed.
He laughed too. Him and Rose became such good friends on the show as she didn't know anyone. He made it very welcoming for her. Until Tiera came along and became her best friend. They'd go to starbucks or sit in each other's trailers and have fun together. He wanted to tell her about Jen. He knew he could trust her so he did.
"Rose. I have to tell you something." he implored.
"Is it about that hickey on your neck?" she asked.
"Oh yeah kind of but you'd be able to
cover up that up tomorrow. Right?"
She nodded her head. "Sure."
Colin continued.
"Well the thing is me and Jen are together. We have been for roughly 3 months. When we was filing for the last episode she stayed at mine. We were playing truth or dare-"
Rose had cut him off.
"Truth or dare. That always leads to sex Colin when you are an adult."
"Yeah, it did. We slept together that night and we both felt this feeling like we should be together. I had always felt that way for her that's why me and Helen divorced. Anyways, I went back to LA with her and now we currently live together. She and I went to Mauritius for 10 days too and we had a great time. It felt so right. Then 3 weeks ago we had sex. But she came off her contraceptive pill and I didn't know, we usually don't use protection because she's on the pill so she became pregnant. It's very early but we are keeping it. I just wanted to tell you so I'm not lying to you. Plus I need to tell someone. Someone I could trust."

Rose was speechless, she didn't know any of this had happened. No one knew they had this kind of connection. She was reluctant to ask about anything else. So she said.
"Are you going to tell Helen she's pregnant?"
He put his hand in his hands and exhaled.
"I don't know." They stopped talking and she went into room. He ordered some room
service. When it came he scoffed the food down as it was late . He had a shower, brushed his teeth and went to sleep. He wanted to get as much as possible before having to wake up at 6am to get ready.
