Beuaty and the Beast

Third Person POV:
Colin was back home from the convention. He gave Jen the biggest hug and soft kiss. He had a lot of time to think while he was away about how he will tell people close to him. He wanted to tell his parents badly. He also needed to tell Helen but he couldn't pluck up the courage to.

"Hello beautiful." he softly spoke to Jen. A smile grew upon a her face, lighting up the room.
"Hey! How was the convention?" answered Jen.
"Great! Loads of devoted fans were there. Rose covered up the hickey really well. She put some green shit on it."
Jen giggled and pulled away from the hug.
"That's colour corrector." she said back.

Colin took his suitcase upstairs and all the fans gifts. He received a lot of letters which he was going to open later on with Jen's help. Meanwhile Jen was trying to book herself an ultrasound as at 6 weeks you can see the foetus. She was starting to get really excited and once she got the ultrasound she was going to tell her parents and her siblings about it. Colin was still trying to figure it out how he'd tell his family. But that was out of mind for now.  Jen found the maternity clinic to see what dates were available and she booked it.
"Colin!" she shouted.
"Coming!" he replied.
He ran down the stairs, into the front room.
"I was able to book an ultrasound for the 5th July as I'm free that day. Are you?" she asked.
He looked at the calendar in his phone to see if he had anything planned.
"Looks like I can come to see the little squid inside of you." he teased.
He kissed her cheek softly. They needed to eat so Jen prepared a cajun chicken salad for them both with croutons. Jen was all for the healthy food. They ate the salad at the table with a glass of sparkling water in hand.
"That was lovely." Colin hinted. He took the plates out into the kitchen and washed up. Jen wanted to quickly take a shower so she went to the bathroom to do so. Colin went in after her. They both got ready for the night.

They sat on the sofa huddled underneath a warm blanket. Watching Jen's favourite disney movie. Beauty and the Beast. She sang along as each song played. Making Colin laugh. After the film had finished she turned to face him.
"I'd never imagined I'd be sitting here with you watching a disney film." she softly said. A smile grew upon his face.
"You are so cute Jen." he replied while running his fingers through her hair. Jen placed her hand on his cheek, she leaned in for a kiss. Their lips interlocked. When they departed Jen took a look at the hickey she gave him not long ago.
"Honestly how the hell did I make this so big? I'm incredible." she giggled.
He laughed to.
"Obviously it's one of your many talents." He replied.

The night was closing in and they were getting tired. They crept up to bed and fell asleep. Jen swaddled i'm Colin's embrace. She was in the arms of a man she loved. The father of her child. What could've been any better than this. But of course she'd find out the next morning.
