Colin had been single for a long time now, him and Helen were completely over. Every other week Colin would look after Evan and Millie. Jen was also still very single. She hadn't had time to see anyone, Sun Dogs and Fabled were just about to be released and so she was busy doing press tours and going to premiers.
Colin had feelings for Jen and now he was busy filming season 7 which Jen wasn't in he never saw her unless at a convention. Jen was too busy to go to conventions and Creation Entertainment never invited her anymore. She would call Colin every week to see how he was, this meant everything to him, hearing her soft voice and her telling him her news was his favourite part of the week. Her voice made him calm. But this week Jen did say she would fly to Vancouver to shoot a scene for the finale. Her scene was short but it was a captain swan scene and so they were excited to work together. Colin was more than excited. Jen had sold her house so she had nowhere to stay the night and so he thought of asking her to stay at his with him.
