My name is Jocelyn Lin, and I am a outsider since I am not old enough to choose a side even though I am living in the serpents, and I am supposed to choose in a week I will choose because I am only 15 years old, and you have to be 16 to choose.
I've always lived with the serpents never the other side. My father always told me that they where the devils and we don't want the states to come back into place we just want no government to control us.
But this time things are going to change the two groups are only on the northern and the costal side, and all of the other states they are all gone taken over by radiation, but that was years ago it could be safe to live in now. I want to leave and not choose the same thing goes with my friend on the other side.
I know, I know, I shouldn't be talking to them, but we only meet up at the gate at midnight and talk, my curfew is 11pm. The other sides curfew is 9pm, lame, but we have to sneak out to see each other and it's only him that I talk to no one else. I swear.
Well going to sneak off in a little while, to see him it's 10:56pm now and at night here where I am it gets dangerous.
